Maybe if Google stops snooping our location 24/7 that it'll free up some RAM for DJ Rammy Jeff!

Or at least not compromise memory management. The Chinese gives you plenty ram so you happy and the Chinese government is happy. Google half ass everything.

So who doesn't use a case?

I wish. Modern phones too slippery besides pixel 2 xl with its plastic finish. Also I need to keep them pretty to sell in a few months.

If I plan on reselling I case. If I don't then I won't. But also depends on material. I wouldn't case a pixel 2 but I would the iphones.

Also so hard to find cases for that phone.

Main negative of noname brands.

Best part of getting an iPhone x was so many case options.

Like there are no battery cases for Android besides Samsung and maybe LG.

Guess there are moto mods.
I wouldn't put a case on the bestfeelingandroiddevicethisyear though. Granted I don't care for cases in general. The size is just so great, third best device ive felt in my hand.

Damn moto z2 force for $375 is a pretty good price. Slap a battery mod and it's a solid out and about phone.

Shame apparently camera aint great

Really not a fan of the bezels on that thing and the small battery. I love the Moto additions to Android though and can't wait for then to move on from mods and make a real flagship again. Still, for $375, you could do a lot worse.

Man it really does feel like oneplus will reach never settle camera quality in a few years.

Hopefully before it hits $1000.

They have the best camera of any Chinese brand I think. Pictures in good lighting are almost up there with S8 and Pixel now. Still seems to suffer in low light. Maybe using the google camera port on it will improve low light even more.

If the S9 rumors are true, then the S9 is not even going to be an option for me, lol.

If it's not at 6 GB of RAM and no dual camera, that's an automatic nope. Only will get my consideration. But with the stereo speakers, I hope it's not too tall

If you mention rumors, link the ones you're talking about. Unreleased hardware has tons of different rumors every week, which makes it hard to join the conversation.

My LG G2 seems to have gotten permanently stuck in headphone mode, so I guess it's time to upgrade. Are there any real differences between the OnePlus 5 and 5T other than the screen size? Not a fan of phablets, so I'm leaning towards the former.

This one was from Evan Blass himself. It was the same one that every tech web site referenced to...

https://venturebeat.com/2017/11/22/...-iterative-upgrades-will-make-a-cameo-at-ces/

Again, this is not obvious. Especially not if you don't follow the news every day.

Here's a site reporting a statement from a Samsung official about the design 3 days ago.

"Samsung Electronics acknowledges a criticism that the Galaxy S9 has no innovation but insists that there are differentiating factors. "Although the Galaxy S9 may not have the innovative features expected by the market, we are focusing on enhancing the completeness of the Galaxy S8 hardware and an innovative user experience (UX)," said an official of Samsung Electronics."

http://www.businesskorea.co.kr/engl...hat-are-innovative-features-samsung-galaxy-s9

Here you have some guy on Twitter proclaiming Samsung showing off the S9 before MWC. That was over a week ago.

https://twitter.com/Ricciolo1/status/930052936771743744

And, of course, the rumor about the 3 sizes.

http://www.valuewalk.com/2017/11/samsung-going-release-galaxy-s9-mini-next-year/

So please stop referring to rumors as if there's a single one. Just put the link in your post so everyone knows what you're talking about.

Hey Aiii , how are those Sony MDR-1000x's treating you? Just ordered some myself after looking up reviews.

I bought a Xiaomi Mi A1 for 200 €. Pretty much stock android, 4G/64GB + 625SD the thing's awesome.

Hopefully I'll get used to the 5.5" screen, but other than that it's awesome what you get for so little money. The value proposition with this thing is unbeatable. I just need to get a case for this thing and I'm sure it'll last for years in my use.

I would've bought G5S, but opted not to, because of the Micro USB connector.

A year later I still love them to absolute bits. Reducing all that noise during my walks, especially when listening to podcasts or audio books is a god send. And especially now that I can use LDAC, the quality of the sound is just insane.

10/10 headset still, especially for its current price point.

Awesome, got some 'like new' ones from Amazon Warehouse for £150 which seems mad. Seen some issues about 'creaking' in some units so hopefully I avoid that.

My Jabra Moves are alright, but just needed that big upgrade. I'll deal with apt-X for a couple of months until the S8 gets Oreo.

I put Lineage OS 15 on my old Z3, so might be worth checking out if you have an old device that has a port going if you don't want to wait.

As for creaking, mine don't. There might be noises as you walk and they move a bit, but that's only a problem if you're not listening to anything and who would even do that? :D

It does everything well. It's not flagship level, but for the price it's really good.

I find myself liking the size, but the aluminium back is way too slippery. Kinda wishing it was glass. That makes the size scary because I'm always afraid I'm going to drop it when I reach for the buttons at the bottom.

I'm actually kinda glad it's metal. Somehow I managed to crack my last phone with glass back to hell and back. But I agree about it being slippery. Thus I ordered a bunch of covers and let's see how these work. Add in the tempered glass and I have a feeling this phone is going to last me a long time.

What are the odds XL 2 getting a sale? Not sure what they did for Pixel last year but i remember they did a small one for the 6P.

Google Play Store is running that deal where you get 50% one single film from Play Movies. Between this, VUDU, and others deals, its been very east to build up my digital library. I'm now trying to focus on UHD content more for some of my favorite films.

Yes really. Not having room for the icons up top is worse.
switching between iOS an android so many times over the years and I don't think I ever missed the notification icons that show up on Android. I never even missed the notification LED. Notifications are obviously better in most ways on Android but I never thought it was because of those 2 things at all.

Especially with always on screens where you can always see if you have one + the app indicators they added in Oreo.
