Most likely not going to happen until they fix the server bottlenecks. If there is a way to get into an empty server like 2.6, you might be able to get the framerates you want.

It's too bad they don't just have a single player mode of Crusader. People were able to pull that off with some file and memory editing in previous patches and run through the mission content locally with great frame rates. Probably not so easy these days with the new persistent elements tying in server-side.

PTU only. First waves today, subscribers next wave, concierge final wave, then public release.
Its 1st PTU wave, so only for selected citizens, most active in previous PTUs and ones with concierge status.
PTU invites were sent out. Just like the older releases it goes from Evocati to PTU then finally Live. PTU is not under NDA so that is why you are seeing alot of media and streams. Many org members will be invited to the PTU so there will be alot of info and media hitting the SC threads.
Really excited to jump back since being away for a year.

Is keyboard+mouse still the only way to play combat though? Would suck not to be able to use my HOTAS.

It never was the only way to play combat.
The split of control methods for top10 players in Arena Commander is almost 50:50, so both HOTAS and k&m are viable.

A couple more things for the tech section:
New Filmic Tone Mapping Curve (ACES)
Temporal Supersampling (TSAA) - previously rendered frames are used to improve the anti-aliasing results on the new frame
Improved Screen Space Directional Occlusion (SSDO)
I had forgotten about the tone mapping change but helps explains why the lighting looks so much better in general.

No, finding bugs is fine.
Saw an interesting comment about that 4K video - they think the player is disconnected from the server. Makes sense with the frame rate they're getting.

Let's just talk about the bugs then. Maybe add a quick description for the clips? Any specific ones you find important? Are the issues all reported?
Derek Smart has already proven to have ulterior motives. Don't derail the thread by posting anything about him. He has a very colorful history that anyone here can simply google if they want to know about.
Just stop. There are plenty of other streams/threads/etc. to find people documenting bugs.
Found my first reproducible bug. Launch yourself out the solar system with it. Go to Yela and quantum inbetween the OMs. When you get to one that you need to quantum twice. You will fly for a long time and instantly run out of fuel.
I've lost 4 ships because of this bug. And you have to file a claim for your lost ships now. :D

You can sometimes get unstuck by spamming the mobi-glass button.
I got an invite for one of the early waves back when 2.6 was being tested but looks like nothing this time around, bugger!
It should be instantaneous, unless they're having server issues. In this situation it might be worth pressing the button again.
Gaaah I've already pressed it again. Going to click Erase then try again.
EDIT: changed my email and that seemed to fix it.

Guys, get down to a planet, its atmospheric as fuck. Hearing the winds kicking outside while in an outpost sounds so damn good.
Welp, I got to the menu once, changed the controls to a controller and the game crashed. Now it refuses to even load the main menu. Instant crash. Are there any quick fixes for this kind of thing? Rebooting and verifying files didn't help, neither did deleting game.cfg from the USER folder.
I just closed the launcher, deleted the entire USER folder, then rebooted. Didn't help. Crashes before I get to the main menu every time.
This feels somehow appropriate.
I hope they like the crash reports I keep sending. I'm running the latest WHQL Nvidia drivers, BTW.

Ive already stated the ship landing and dragon fly are a mess and so is the pop in and the npc jogging in place is funny
Is it normal for content verification to finish in a matter of seconds? Feels like it's not rigorously checking for data consistency. Maybe I could try reinstalling, SIGH.
