It would be nice if they could pull patch 3.3 together in time for the event, but there's probably not enough time. It sounds like performance is great with the new object container streaming, but they have a lot of issues to work through.

Lol, I'm a supporter and I don't even care. As long as they're tastefully funny and not just angry conspiracy posts.

I mean you can call it a drive by post, but it's beyond obvious right now that this "game" will never deliver.

How much of this has been released so far? Haven't been keeping up.

It's years behind schedule and they've upped the promises from their original vision that I highly doubt they'll ever meet.

Reminds me of other kickstarters that recieved way more money than they thought, added stretch goals, then go bankrupt before meeting their original vision.

Haven't spent any money on it yet but it's not clear to me. They are obviously working hard on the game and seem to be making decent progress at the moment. I'm mostly interested in SQ42 but if they hit their upcoming milestones, I could see myself jumping in by the end of the year.

Anyway, looking forward to the keynote.

They haven't increased the scope of the game for many years.

And you highly doubting that they'll ever meet the stated goal. Is not the same as being obvious that the "game" as you say, will never come out.

Well I don't want to get into a big argument about this. There's plenty of people who probably do, but for me it's something I'd rather avoid sinking money into.

I hope it's successful and meets everyone's expectations though. It's fun to see train wrecks sometimes, but I don't like to see people disappointed or studios closed for failed games.

I like to see business fucks ups too, especially when it's brazen cowboys like these Star Citizen guys who hype the game up year after year. However, I don't want to see all these gamers have their money siphoned into blackhole sized toilet.

Am looking forward to the presentation. Hope they talk about the FOIP stuff, I've been watching people play a VR game called Vox Machinae and in that when some one uses VOIP their face appears on a small screen but whilst it doesn't track their eyes/mouth it does track their head/hand, its pretty cool to see.

What exactly is it celebrating six years of? Who celebrates six years of any game that's not a landmark for its release?

Watching video of the behind the scene/tech they make will be fun as always.

It will be hard to top ArcCorp first presentation but I sure hope they do.

3.3(.5) from what I've read might finaly be a patch worth trying.

Sadly the current road map, and all the delay we saw this year, still make me think that :
- SQ42 will be 2020
- Star Citizen is 2022 with only a very small sample of those 100 star system

Are there gonna be ingame events?

I bought the beta access with Squadron 42 bottom tier pledge....still waiting.

I paid lfor the bttom tier as well and i feel like i already got my money's worth from screwing around in the PU. But looking forward to SQ42 release. Whenever that is

i am excited for the citizencon and hope that we'll see a little bit more from SQ42 (the vertical slice demo last year on the holiday stream was great), earth-like planets and maybe a Bengal and Javelin battle ingame
