Just checked in on this for the first time today... the GOP is so far gone at this point. He shouldn't have been confirmed after showing his ass at the Ford hearing - regardless of whether or not they believed Dr. Ford. The Republican party is a fucking disgrace, and every Republican voter is responsible for this shithead being on the Supreme Court.
Yo it wasnt that long ago, remember 2016 when Trump was one big meme and nobody thought he would actually win? All those people that didnt vote because they were sure he was never going to be elected. They didnt have a reason to be angry then, but now they do.

At best it's a job to them, at worst it's a game; nothing more. None of this matters to them the way it does to regular citizens. The majority of decisions they make will have little to no impact on them while instead effecting the rest of the country in massive ways.

So I can just reply to this with "Go fuck yourself" and that would be no worse than your question? My statement had some substance to it, whether you agree with it or not.
Except that it also discouraged a huge number of people who did vote to then find out their vote meant absolutely nothing and that the electoral college makes the final say regardless of the popular election. It'll be interesting to see what happens come the next election, but I'd still be cautious about getting overly optimistic about it just yet.
