2. Smh at anyone drawing on this if you already had him. Be strong!

3. I need advice on Echidna. I have everything I should need except a top DPS chainer:

[ ] Y'shtola / Tilith / Refia
[ ] Ling / Minifilla
[ ] WoL / Cecil / EV

And I have a Noctis, Yun, Reberta, GLS, Dark Fina...

AND I have one ribbon and enough confuse nullify equip for everyone. But after two or three rounds she wipes me. What am I missing??

This is the pit fall of increased rates. More rainbows, which makes you feel good, but you don't get the unit you want.

? If so, he is is the true "final boss" of Season 1, as he is much, much, harder than the actual final boss for one specific, silly, eyerolling reason. You should be able to figure that out on your own when you get there.

You're right, I shouldn't, but this is on top of 110 pulls, and around $300 spent, yesterday. The rainbow rates have been slightly favorable, around ~4% off of normal, non-bonus, pulls since new rates were introduced, but I really didn't get a unit I could use.

I should be thinking of how to use multiple Gladioluses. If his Antagonize, which counters on physical attacks to allies, a multi Gladiolus setup could theoretically work; though I don't see how it could be ideal. But first I need how to use a even single Gladiolus into my rotation.

I haven't done more than free + daily since the 3% change, but I'm getting close to 400 summons with no rainbow (Tidus in June). Really hoping this doesn't continue once I finally start pulling more.

Must have turned off the new rainbow rates for me.

Between EX tickets and 11 pull tickets I've done over 100 pulls with no rainbows

Hi everyone. I just started the game and am a little overwhelmed right now.

First off, which banners should I pull on? There seem to be a lot of different currencies so I'm not sure which ones to spend. After pulling on the right banners, which units should I reroll for?

4 rainbows from 10 10+1s so far: Onion Knight, Ace, Barbariccia, Prishe. All new. I've got one 10+1 left I'll probably blow tonight.

Overall very happy I saved over time and spent them now. Kinda surprised I haven't pulled a dupe yet.

The current banner (FFXV) isn't that great except for Noctis. Noctis is fantastic though so you should probably still pull on that one. The other banners besides the rare summon banner (which is always there) are from the raid last week that you can safely ignore.

It's tough to give a straight list of must-haves since plenty of units are viable these days. Maybe the two most important and hardest to get units are a strong healer and a good physical chainer. The best healer by far right now is Ayaka. Physical chainers are much more diverse but the popular ones are Orlandeau, Veritas of the Dark, Fryevia, and Onion Knight. Tidus and Aileen are also set to become very good in the future but are lackluster currently. If you can land Ayaka and one of those you'll be in a great spot.

Going to document every single pull that I'm doing up until Cloud's banner. What type of pull, what type of tickets, etc. Keeping it in a text document. Only doing Dailies/Free pulls until it hits, then I'm totally unloading everything and keeping track of it all.

So far from yesterday and today:

Daily - Charlotte 3*
Free - Tellah 3*
Daily - Gilgamesh 5*
Free - Alma 3*

Currently at 64 Regular Tickets, 4 4* tickets, 14 EX Tickets, 3 4* EX tickets, and 5 10+1 tickets. 35,000 lapis, but that'll go down as I use it for dailies.

Still have to buy a couple tickets from MK, this week's expedition, and more are coming as Fan Festa rewards, etc.

Oh, and I am saving the 4* tickets until Mistair is out. Not going to use those on Cloud's banner.

Hello and welcome! I suggest you join the Discord group so we can give you more details and answer questions there.

But generally, the only event currency to focus on right now is the "Debased Coin" that you can trade in at the Little Mog Minister who is next to King Mog (Vortex -> Exchange)

I'll complain about landing rainbows on every banner I've wanted to and never getting the banner unit
Orlandu -> Ramza
Tidus -> Fry
Nier-> BDFina
Onion Knight -> Ramza
Halloween ->DFina
Aileen -> Orlandu

Sometimes it's not bad like getting Orlandu or Fry. But it fucking sucks getting shit on limited time units.

I've had three on banner rainbows this year. Rem, Lunera, and Galdious.

As I said earlier, its bullshit we don't have matching yellow rates to the JPN version. Because right now, it would be harder to get INic than a rainbow, on dual yellow banners. Basically, they've chose to fuck over F2P players

You do know how fucked we are when Mistair (thank god it aint time limited unit) hits. Double gold banner :(. I have 4 4* tix reserved to that banner. But chances actually landing banner goldies on those 4 tix are minimal :D. Also I never pulled Rainbow from 4* / 4* ex tix. Hopefully that wont happen in Mistair banner either :D.

Since I didn't buy anything this black Friday and have decided to stop playing Hearthstone.
I felt I could spend some money and bought the big bundle.
Used 5000lapis and the tickets.
Got 2 Emporers and
Prishe rainbows.
2 Beach Fina
Etc
Guess this should cover my magic dmg problems?
I have Ace too.

1 out of 23 golds was an onbanner gold....but hey my first chloe and crowe...mistair will come over time.

Dual banners have about a 2.5% chance of landing the yellow you want in GL, while 5% in JP.

Did the rates stay the same or did they actually drop? Rates for banner gold was already stupidly bad.

Very good, one of the best finishers in the game right now and for quite a while. You need the right gear for him though. You do a Fixed Dice build with him and later TDH materia/accessories from Cloud/Elfried. He's one of the very few finishers who can truly take advantage of a 2hand build since he can self-imbue with Fire so that you can hit an elemental weakness. And unlike a lot of Imbuers he still does damage while doing it - it's a substantial 400% single hit while giving him +Fire for 5 turns. That's a really great ability.

He also has his own 50% Fire Imperil if you don't have someone else doing it. It's a 400% 8 hit chain attack, though it only lasts for 3 turns. Ideally you'd want Ace for his 75% imperil or something else anyways.

For his big hit he has an on-demand and easy single hit 750% AE damage attack that also drains a measly 20% HP from him.

He's up there with Fire Veritas in terms of damage potential.

Thanks a bunch! Luckily I've already got Orlandeau for chaining purposes but the one thing really missing from my setup was a finisher. My main team is Orlandeau, Tillith, Rikku, Wilhelm/WoL and as my finisher...Noctis :/

This is gonna take me so long to kit him out now though. I've not played for a few months

Didn't see anyone post this yet, but the Mog King event is currently bugged. ADV runs (over the long haul) are paying out more coins per energy than ELT. On top of that, bonus mobs DO show up on ADV. (Saw 2 on the bar of NRG I just spent.)

Whoops! Gumi done goofed up hardcore. Wonder how long until this screw-up is fixed.

Nyx is great, I have multiples of him. He can chain, he can finish, and he has built in dual-wield. Currently his main downside is the lack of weapon selection, as he can only equip swords, daggers, and throwing.

For GL, there are no strong fire weapons he can equip outside of the event weapon necro dagger (which is dual-element); a good option is to pair him with Vernard from the Brave Frontier event. In JP there is Hawkeyes dagger, and JP version of Ling's TM, but later, with his enhancements, a good dagger is a must (as he gets 100% ATK with it). He'll also get a 550% chain move with a -70% imperil, atop that he's also a great debuffer like Noctis with Shift Breaks etc. Top-notch unit, congrats!

One week (likely) behind GL's first true bard and two weeks (hopefully) behind the TDH advent. I really don't understand. 3% rainbow isn't going to melt back down to 1% when this week's over.
