This game is the closest humanity has ever gotten to a time machine. Simply incredible.
You're right...but I'll stop here. Can't wait for more people to make their way through this game.

The game looks great on both Pro and the One X. How much better is up to your eyes and TV.This game is stunning on a PS4 Pro. Wonder how much better it looks on a One X.
Fantastic. Thank you. I was of course on foot and was wondering how the game handled it. Great to know!Hunting tip: Forget the bow. Hop on a camel and do running charged hard strikes on the animals. Small ones will go down immediately, larger ones will require you to keep circling around them or doing passes if there is a group of them. When it's charged, you can use your overpower move to strike a few at once. You can go by the corpse and loot it while still on your camel. Make sure you're always moving, though, as if you stand there they could knock you off. Just today I used this method to killan entire pride of lions.
Get the quest. Disconnect. Finish the quest and talk to Reda. Get reward. Go to network settings and connect. Wait till the option to talk to him again appears (30seconds or more). Disconnect. Talk to him and he'll give you another reward. Get the reward. Connect again....
Can I earn more helix credits by playing the game or do I have to buy them?
All I want is the nightmare horse thing, why is life so hard.
There's no limit to how much gear you can carry, so just keep everything and experiment with different combinations until you find something that feels good to you. Fairly early on you can unlock abilities that let you equip two melee weapons or two bows (not simultaneously, you can just switch between two with a single button), so you'll want to have at least a couple weapons on you to take advantage of that as well. Once you've found something that agrees with your playstyle, you can start dismantling other stuff for the resources.Picked this up for Xbox One X. Really enjoying it so far but struggling a little bit with the new combat system.
Question, if I find a weapon or shield I really like is it better to upgrade or not?

Don't know about PC, I'm doing it on PS4. Hopefully some of the PC players can shed some light on this.Tried this on PC but the option to speak to Reda again never appears. Restarting the game doesn't bring it back either so once per day for me.
Anyone else got this to work on PC? Maybe the ultra quick cloud saving via uplay is affecting it.
Nope! About three quarters through. Got a whole (incredible) region left to explore.Isthe final Main Quest ? I got a "point of no return" type warning, and want to clear out a bunch more higher level regions first if so.Aya: Blade of the Goddess
Excellent, thanks!Nope! About three quarters through. Got a whole (incredible) region left to explore.
People ITT sleeping on bow fury...Hunting tip: Forget the bow. Hop on a camel and do running charged hard strikes on the animals. I don't even have this yet, but the bows are seriously strong with a few minor upgrades / abilities. Once you can reliably get headshots, you'll be an absolute powerhouse. You can clear out entire outposts with the predator bow without getting anywhere near them.
I will have to remember this..Do the quest.
Disconnect.
Talk to Reda.
Take reward.
Connect.
Game will save.
Stay near him and wait for 30 seconds. Quest reappears.
Disconnect.
Talk to Reda.
Collect another reward.
Connect again.
And on and on it goes....
;)
If you're the exact same level and have a good bow this is how it will play out. Speaking from experience. You only get a situation like that if you're very overleveled. From my own experience that looks like someone around five levels above or more. At that point anything will work.
Against same level enemies, or even -1, -2 enemies it takes several shots to kill with the charged bow.
I don't think Horizon was out long enough for it to have any kind of meaningful impact on the design of this game tbh.Played it for 3 hours or so and I'm surprised to say that I'm really enjoying it. You can clearly see that they drew a huge amount of inspiration from Horizon and that's fine because it's a great game.
Sorry, one more question - once I embark on this mission, am I then stuck in that region until the story's conclusion, or can I still move freely around the open world?Nope! About three quarters through. Got a whole (incredible) region left to explore.
I dunno Horizon and this are only separated by what, eight months? I'd say the more likely inspiration was The Witcher 3.Played it for 3 hours or so and I'm surprised to say that I'm really enjoying it. The region I was talking about comes after this mission and it part of the normal map. What you're about to do is just a long sequence of story missions that are gonna lock you in for a bit.Sorry, one more question - once I embark on this mission, am I then stuck in that region until the story's conclusion, or can I still move freely around the open world?
