They showed a bit of the first episode of V6 at NYCC
Things of note. Weiss has some new additions to her outfit being a red scarf and tights. The crew headed to Atlas are RWBY, JNR, Oscar and Qrow. Ilia and Sun are staying behind. Ilia is staying to help Ghira and Kali in Haven, Sun is staying because he wants to be a better team leader. Blake kissed Sun on the cheek. Neptune also showed up briefly and tried hitting on Ilia. Adam returns to the white fang base but the other members shun him for running at Haven. He kills them and takes his throne. The Atlas crew is going by train to a place called Argus. They also tease 2 new grimm. The Manticore and the Sphynx.
Was hoping Ilia was gonna go too, she'd have a nice dynamic with Weiss.
All this Adam stuff has me hopeful for his stuff in future. This might potentially be it for him with Blake and Yang kicking his shit in once and for all.

I kind of see Adam and Kylo Ren as the same character, viewed from different perspectives.
We see Kylo from the perspective of the people he wants to be taken seriously by, but see right through him.
We see Adam from the perspective of the people he abuses.

I mean this goes without saying but I hope that Vol 6 isn't a repeat of Vol 4. Travel Arcs really don't feel like this series's strong-suit, what with the score being 0-for-3 on them so far in my opinion.
Hopefully with the cast back together as one unit again they'll finally be able to properly focus on fleshing out one major location instead of jumping around left and right... Because honestly Mistral felt kind of hollow and underdeveloped to me in comparison to Vale.

Menagerie got a lot more screentime than Mistral.
Mistral can be defined as a single house, where as there were multiple locations for Menagerie.
However, they did say V6 is a travel arc. However the difference is it will be one group moving around instead of jumping from perspective to perspective like V4 was. Which should hopefully improve the pacing and eliminate issues the show has with time.

Judging by the exact post-date, I assume Vol 5 OT.
And if a new JoJo (and other anime) season gets a new OT, well...
The October OTs were kind of a rush job last year, for obvious reasons. A lot of placeholder general threads served as either temporary or permanent community homes for the time being.

I figured I'd just update the OP and thread title of this thread. I mean, if you guys think there should be a new thread, I won't stop you, I just think RWBY is pretty niche and recycling the old thread is a pretty standard thing to do with niche shows.
