Wouldn't normally post a thread about a deal on some website or whatever and I'm not even sure if it's allowed by moderation team, AND to be honest I don't know the first thing about Python (maybe I will in a year) but I found a boatload of Python training courses for free (limited time) on Hot UK Deals.

https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/15-python-courses-for-free-udemy-3077425

I don't know if any country can sign up, but I don't see why not. I know there are Python users on here and there may be people who want to dip their feet in it. These courses seem like they may be more of an advanced level but always good to have in the backlog.

Hope someone finds this useful.

I've learned a little python, but not too much. Kinda wanted to dab in it a bit more. Thanks!

Edit: I got it from the US so ya, works anywhere.

Just got the deal as well. Wanted forever to make me some plugins for blender and this might just do the trick to get started. Thank you very much.

Edit: country Austria, so yeah seems there's no country restriction

I haven't had the chance to look at the courses (they might actually be good and not stolen), but always, always be wary when it comes to Udemy courses:

Basically, the site is a mess of stolen content, and you shouldn't put much stock into the un-discounted prices. Udemy courses are always on sale.

Udemy courses are permanently on sale for around £10 so this is more of a £150 saving, but based on reviews not many of the courses seem worth taking. Probably worth a punt on a couple though and free never hurts!

I enjoyed automate the boring stuff with python which was available as video from udemy. That said I haven't been able to cross from handling the basic functions of python to developing anything meaningful at least yet. I just get stuck when looking at references for modules and really haven't been able to start think like a software developer aka how one piece goes to next. Hopefully it is just a practice question, but I feel like this is the part where most give up including me.

Damn, is this legit? Sounds amazing. I know some R but it feels like Python's more helpful when it comes to finding data science jobs, even though I really like R.

Thanks for the heads up the code still works. I don't really use R/Python much on the Business side of things, but it is always good to develop a broader skillset.
