How is it better than a smartwatch? My S4 Apple Watch does everything this does, and waaaaaay more, but in a much more convenient form.
If the phone was standalone, I would definitely use it as small, minimalist smartphone. It is something which is still pretty much missing on the market.
What gets me is that there actually is a niche market for a phone this size. Some people don't like that phones have gotten so much bigger in the last 10 years and want to go back to something the size of an old Nokia or flip phone. If this thing was an actual phone and not a companion device, it might actually have a place in the market.
Just wait, their next product is tiny watch for when you can't use smart watch.
It goes around your thumb and is useful for when you're doing activities that require full unrestricted use of your wrists, but not your thumbs.
Exactly, it'll be called smart ring, and in couple of years Apple will present iRing with cellular.
That's even worse... I can understand getting paid to market crap, because hey you're making easy money. But Steph actually spent money to invest in this?

This concept is old, I tried to sell some of these without the "smart" features and everyone that it was presented to was like;
The best scenario I could come up with was if you were doing dirty work and wanted to keep your phone clean.

The concept would maybe work if it was $50 and if it was rugged(so that you could take it out on outdoor activities), but even that would be a tough sell. As it is right now, it appears to be completely useless.
There are good android phones cheaper than this thing that you can use as a burner phone if need be.

At least with the Light Phone it's so you are less distracted, this thing is a waste.

This is a more idiotic, pointless device than the Juicero. I wouldn't buy this if it were $20. $349 plus $10 a month is sheer insanity.
