I like the character better than Mario or Sonic and I'm really liking what I'm seeing with the new VR game...I'm hoping Sony really takes these characters and keeps making new games and character designs.

How are sales for the latest VR game looking?

I have no sarcasm, I'm taking a break before the last few bots in 5-4 and then the final boss.

I don't think the main character looks better than Megaman, but this is a dang fine game. I feel like a kid when I peek in a suspicious corner and the chameleon pops.

Same, the last platformer I enjoyed was Ori and the blind forest, and that's not just a platformer.

I can't think of a pure 3D platformer I've truly liked and finished.

Did you play Mirror's Edge? The campaign wasn't worth jack, but the time trials are the finest 3D platforming by an order of magnitude.

Oh yeah I actually did enjoy that game! Though I didn't finish it. I remember getting stick in some enclosed environment and I couldn't figure out how to proceed.

I do have to say the first person platforming was enjoyable before I got stuck .

If you're interested, it's one of the 4k BC games on XBOX if you have one, even in HDR. Press on through the short campaign and you'll have all the time trials, and they are truly remarkable platforming.

Astrobot looks ok. But not enough to get me to invest in lame ass VR. O doubt any game would cause me to bother with that.

I bought a 3DS for 2 Resident Evil games, but even if all the Resident Evils were on VR, I'd just quit the series.

Eh... anytime there's a new refreshing and positive game like this people seem to hype it to the moon a little too soon - you don't need to compare it so much, let it stand on its own. And to be honest, the character design is generic and I can't get Eve from Wall-E out of my head when I try to picure Astro Bot.
