The caravan itself is probably organic and real. In any other season it wouldn't even be a story until it was close to the border. The attention to it right now is completely and entirely ginned up by Trump, Fox, and the GOP.
In 2003 and 2004, the government was issuing nebulous "terrorism alerts" on the regular, and with increasing frequency, leading up to the 2004 election. After the election, they dropped off almost entirely. Terrorism solved!

Worth mentioning the Soros bomb and the Clinton bomb were in the same county, within a 15 mile radius. Rich Republicans live in Westchester County too, and I'm sure none of them want their property values to go down in that area (towns of Bedford and New Castle)

I believe it's being implied that it's not true, but yes if it is accurate that's a problem.
Stop faulting Republicans for this hypocrisy, but rather almost the entire media that does the same thing. As ridiculous as equating Sanders being denied service to the bombs at Soros's and the Clintons' houses and the actually violent actions by Proud Boys and at Unite the Right would already be, the mainstream media takes it up another notch by ceaselessly discussing civility after any inconveniences experienced by Republicans, while almost completely neglecting true threats against members of the left, even though these acts are of course much worse. They do their job of informing the electorate so badly that even equivocating would be an improvement in this case.
CNN.com's homepage has literally no mentions of the caravan right now, except possibly indirectly in its lead story "Trump Masters His Dangerous Game", which is indeed embarrassing.
But the caravan itself is not currently on the front page at all.
