I really loathe participation prizes. Only the first place should get ribbons and medals and trophies. (I'm serious).
I agree. But, as a millenial who got a participation trophy in track club in 1997, I can say that I never asked for said trophy. I never demanded that I get something for taking part in the activity. Boomers pushed that shit on us and now they point the finger at the monster they created.

Like I couldn't hate Monopoly more.

If all the copies of this curse of a "game" in the world would suddenly self-combust I think we would be rid of a pure evil for once.

That or organize a board game burning, with only copies of Monopoly.

God I hate that game...

I'm sure most people use the term millennial wrong. They mostly mean generation Z.

This did make me laugh though

They don't often announce store exclusives or limited editions of their products. Hasbro is not consistent on these things, often with products on shelves with nothing of it mentioned on their site or no way to buy it outside of from a brick and mortar.

WTF... This doesn't make any sense to me.

Majority of their business is B&M and try not to compete with retailers with their own online presence. You want that cool new transformer? Nope, you can't get it off their site, but it's only available at a specific store! They will also often only add a product to their own online shop some weeks/months after it's released to stores. Toy stores and such in general are buying less and less products, they are trying to avoid competition and want retailers to feel special. This was seen a lot with their Transformers and GI Joe lines.

It's funny like those Fox News comedy shows. Has to put captions and labels on everything so we know where the "funny" is. It's really a gift older people will get for younger people because they want to spite laugh at them.

Are you literally proposing that the millennial generation are the only generation that cannot be "laughed at"? You guys laughed at gen X, gen Y, baby boomers, etc but when it comes your turn, suddenly millennials are 'untouchable' because .....?

P.S. Am millennials myself. Our generation are not THAT special, damnit. We can take a joke at our expense. Right? Right? Hello?
