So I went to change my avatar last night, used a gif and thought it'd just make it a static img like most sites do, which I assumed it did and didn't bother checking at the time.
Noticed today that it seems to have taken the gif and let it actually be an animated gif and not just converted it to a jpg? Didn't notice until someone commented on it from another thread.
So are gif's allowed as avatars now or something?
