Ok, it didn't release on China yet. But do we have actual data about games with more active montly users right now? Fortnite was around 80 million in the last September.

No it doesn't, I have the game on the Xbox one X and I'd categorize it as barely playable. It's that bad.
It should do good numbers, I'm sure a lot have been waiting for it.
That said, Fortnite is much bigger than it was a year ago and it's free and doesn't require plus so I'm not expecting anywhere near the sales numbers of xbox, and obviously far from PC.

Have you considered the possibility that your definition of playable and mine might differ drastically? Like I said, I own the game on the Xbox One X and I consider it to be barely playable.

That being said, as excited I was about the game a year or more ago, probably not gonna be picking this up. Fortnite has given me my fill of Battle Royale games (and it's free).

The hate on here for this game amazes me. I play daily on the Xbox One X. While the game is not perfect, it is far from unplayable. For everyone saying the game is "dead", nothing could be farther from the truth. I welcome it on the PS4 and will double dip for sure.
Barely playable is not an opinion, technical facts should be used to back that statement up. Maybe you just don't like the game, which is fine. However the game is more than playable and with each patch it gets better.

You consider barely playable to be 4k resolution and 30fps? Because that's how it runs on the X.
It doesn't drop frames like it once did, cq combat is smooth, there really aren't many issues to fix.

Yeah, both PUBG and Minecraft have more monthly users than Fortnite at last count. Fortnite's huge, there's no denying it. But PUBG is too. It's ginormous in Asia and those are a loooooot of players. They're both big games.

Given how PUBG runs on XB1 they should probably let Tencent handle the inevitable Switch port so they can base it off the excellent mobile conversion.
Sorry but I don't consider 30fps with drops regardless of resolution to be acceptable performance metrics for a competitive online shooter period. If it's a shooter and it's not the campaign mode, anything less than 60fps is really a non starter. I'm sorry that your definition of what is playable and mine differ but Pubg is barely playable on all consoles. And to the lad boasting about 4k, it's 4k at "medium" settings on the X when compared to the PC. The game is significantly better on PC and it's not even close. The server tick rate on PC is also much higher if I remember correctly. All in all, I stand by my initial statement.
Only if you exclude the fact they launched a campaign called "Fix Pubg" because the game is still so bugged everywhere but mobile.
I think all the fuss about this game was more when it came out and there were not so many other BR options available. Gameplay is definitely not as smooth as BO so don't go in expecting that. Last I played on PC it was still quite janky but I stopped playing some time ago.
I think everyone figured this was coming. Hoping for a Switch version too.

With how much Microsoft and its studios have put into making that game playable on console, it kinda sucks that exclusivity is ending now. Obviously, I want everyone who wants to play it be able to play it, but I don't think Xbox thought they'd be spending their exclusivity period helping Bluehole fix the mess they released.
Yes, Ived been waiting for a whole year to play this version. The mobile version was so good but I needed somthing more.
That's your opinion guy, I personally wouldn't play Blackout even if it were free. Three or four rounds of the beta was enough and it was promptly uninstalled.
Um you do know that the get probably is closing in on 10 million players on the xbox and has been a staple bundle game all year long specifically the X. I think they got plenty out of the game in that year

Launch game is almost an entirely different game from how the beta was.
Beta was old after round 3, im still having an amazing time weeks later playing 4 hours a day on work days and even more when im off.
Game runs like trash on the one x and has on multiple occasions hard crashed both me and my brothers Xbox one x's completely to the point where the console turned off and gave us ventilation warnings upon rebooting. I have 32 d 8 hrs and 31 m time played according to the xb stats (all time spent on the x) and in all that time the game has ran like garbage. We only play FPP and we quit playing a couple weeks ago and went back to RB6 siege. Based on the feedback on the reddit, many FPP have moved on to greener pastures as a result of poor performance as well and finding FPP in NA is a challenge outside of specific prime times.
Ill come back to PUBG when they release the performance mode for one x they have been talking about, but if its not 1080p at 60 fps i won't be sticking around for too long. I can't imagine the PS4 Pro even including a quality mode with how poorly it functions on the one X. They are likely waiting to release performance mode for the xb1x and said performance mode will likely be the default mode for ps4 Pro with standard ps4 likely being the xb1/1s version with a more stable 30 fps.
That's a shame, I like BO due to the gameplay being so tight.
