This is uncomfortably close to a pitchfork-wielding mob.

This sort of thing is only going to embolden the other side and feed into the victim complex that they're literally under attack.

Also, mobs like this egg each other one and attract agent provocateurs.
It's not a huge leap from this to something truly unfortunate happening.
Blah blah blah blah.

And those things are all blatantly illegal. We have multiple law enforcement agencies and a robust justice system.

Stooping to their level just says "This is the level everything's at from now on."

Law enforcement born of slave catching angencies that shoot unarmed POC civilians with no penalties.

You think protesting white supremacists is cringeworthy, eh?
In public, at a restaurant or the movies? Absolutely not. You see him out, you give him a piece of your mind. But his house? Do you know his home address? I sure don't. That isn't publicly available information. Do we wanna give some nutjob a quid pro quo reason to show up at say, Rachel Maddow's home to "protest"? No, we don't. Or at least we shouldn't.

Can somebody post his house address? He deserves this.

It's not like he stops being a fascist while he's at home though, and people going to Maddow's home would be stupid since she isn't one, and I imagine people would show up to shut that down.
I really don't care, do u?
Ha!

Tucker Carlson deserves to live a life of misery, but let's be honest here. Dude makes millions of dollars a year hosting his white supremacist cable show. Protesting outside his house probably isn't gonna do anything other than feed into his "rich white conservatives are the most oppressed people" victimhood complex and cause him to move into a fancier and more secured gated community. Fuck him.

...This feels like just straight-up condoning political assassination.
If this isn't "calling for violence" it's about as close to the line as you can get without stepping over.

What political office does Tucker hold again? Oh that's right he's just a gaslighting piece of shit alt right propaganda machine. Fuck him. He deserves to get knocked the fuck out.

pretty sure they meant popped as in popped one in the face. Nobody is talking about what you are insinuating.
Nah, 'cause white supremacists have been punched. Something like this hasn't lead to one getting shot or "popped" yet, to my knowledge -- at least someone on Carlson's level.
EDIT: See above.

Let's stalk a guys house who has a hate platform, that can go on the news the next night, ratchet up his rhetoric and incite armed idiots with dog whistles and get some innocent people hurt that were never involved to begin with. People don't use their damn brain.

Thoughts and prayers *snicker*

Long as folks don't start physically attacking him to add credence to his eventual "See? They're the baddies, not me!" response that comes tomorrow, I say keep it up.

Fuck Tucker Carlson.

To everyone hand-wringing about "how this looks":

His fanatic supporters sent a dozen pipe bombs to people they were told not to like. They will always cry about being persecuted no matter what. If anyone complains, remind them of that.

It is. This thread is mob mentality. Deeply uncomfortable with people espousing harassing political opponents at their homes. This isn't about "civility." This shit is straight up dangerous.

Are you sure? Because "punched in the face" was not my read of that at all. Getting popped generally either means getting arrested, or getting shot.

Private citizen... Tucker Carlson.

Huh?

Well he doesn't actually hold any political office, right?
One can be a public figure and still be a private citizen.

Celebrities are still "private citizens."

No I don't, but let's not pretend there isn't a sizable user base here that wouldn't be excited if he was killed.

And that doesn't disturb you in any way?
Everyone loves a mob until they're the one on the wrong side of it.

That we're talking about murder is exactly what the Right wants here. How about we stick to just making them miserable?

No I was wrong. There's always one though that wants to go extreme.
