Well, as long as this country keeps telling that nothing could have been done to prevent such tragedies there's nothing more to say, except to pay condolences.
Why are there no ambulances? The scene looks fairly relaxed?

News reporter is saying the shooter shot the guard on duty then threw smoke bombs inside and started firing.

There's a command post nearby, have to clear the scene before any medical personnel can be allowed.

Removing the tweet from media about 30 people shot, seems like they misheard everyone else is saying 30 shots.
K yea, I'm definitely going to sleep and wait till the morning/afternoon to get more substantial or verified information. Lots of chatter about what weapons used, victim count etc.

Yeah other news are supposedly reporting the have heard white guy with a beard. This mix of conflicting reports happens every time shootings happen (and its awful that I can say that) so it's best to wait for police confirmation.
It's 30 miles away.
Thousand Oaks is quite far from actual Los Angeles.
