While I don't condone violence, I also wouldn't feel any sympathy towards these people if something bad were to happen to them.
They enable domestic terrorism against the majority of the country on a daily basis. Even if we treat them kindly and respectfully, it will not change their attitude towards us.

To be fair, that racist fuckboy has been doing exactly that for years, on a network that thrives on white victimhood, which enables a party whose only constant idea is the open demonization of minorities. And there's no institutionalized pushback against these, no penalty to being a harmful shit, so I don't see what kind of Justice there can be here within institutional and civil boundaries.

Defending someone like Carlson essentially allows Trump to play his victim card anytime someone is critical when he says something hateful. Carlson has been spewing hateful, dehumanizing rhetoric for DECADES, and we are finally seeing the fallout of such behavior. So now that people are terrified and fighting back, THEY'RE to blame, and how will the right respond?! THE RIGHT ALREADY ESCALATED EVERYTHING TO THIS POINT.

I'm not suggesting anyone needs to be "dealt with". It would just be really, really great if literal, actual racists and their enablers didn't have a platform.
People have died because of rhetoric that Carlson pushes. He is complacent in the deaths of so many in the past few weeks, all from right-wing white terrorists, who are inspired by the words pushed by Fox News and their reporters, which come directly from the President and his administration. You do understand why this is a problem that needs to be stopped, right?
You're suggesting they fly to New York to protest? Are you going to fund this? Because not all of them have Tucker Carlson money.

The reaction to this protest could be real right-wing terrorism, and what's the vigilante reaction to that?
That kind of escalation will just spin us further towards the death of US democracy.
There's real appeal for this type of protest, especially since it seems like the entire country has lost core values. We all want to fix it now, no more bipartisanship, no more "both sides."
The only lasting way to deal with this current perversion of our country is to fix it from the top down. Destroy the Imperial Presidency. Clean the corruption. Seal the loopholes. Restore the checks and balances. Legislate white nationalism out of existence. A hard, long slog that needs to be started now.
Attempting to solve this in the streets will just ensure that the biggest thug will win.
