I don't have an issue with him causing mayhem in the game, my issue is that he is specifically framing feminists as people who should be viewed as evil/an enemy, which has implications beyond the scope of the game.

He didn't read the article. Absent of context the headlines alone make it seem like a blanket statement for all players. The content of the article lets you know it is a specific group of players. So what he is trying to illustrate here is that he didn't read the article, nor the parts you quoted only to make a shallow and misguided post.

Fun is subjective. But violence is part of the positive feedback loop in these games.

I didn't blame Rockstar for his actions. He's responsible for his own actions. But I think Rockstar expected people to act this way in response to how the npc is written.

Yeah, in a game with otherwise decent politics, that mission is a huge bummer.
You quite LITERALLY get negative feedback for specific types of violence. Use your brain. It'll help you come to certain conclusions about certain messages in the game.

Just because the game responds to your violence doesn't mean that response isnt meant to be enjoyable. Not to mention the act of triggering the response being enjoyable in the first place.
It's a stranger mission that can be found in one of the saloons.
Missed a lot of Stranger missions during my first playthrough.
Remembered there was cut content from the first RDR relating to a giant and his smaller friend.

No other way indeed, as this character will immedialty be hostile and try to attack you, so you have to fight him to defend yourself.

Just found the NPC today in Saint Denis, she is not nearly as annoying as some of you made it out to be, she just want to fucking vote ffs.

No punishment isn't enjoyable... That's why it isn't punishment.
If a player gets joy from killing NPCs, and then enjoys what the game does in response to the NPC being killed, then the player hasn't been punished.
If I enjoy violence, and the game throws more violence at me in response to me committing an act of violence, that's a positive feedback loop.
If I desire the effects that come with being dishonorable, if I find them fun, then losing honor for killing the NPC isn't punishment.

Yeah, it really makes me think these guys stanning for Shirrako haven't seen this NPC at all because they keep talking about how "if R* made her annoying, then it's not his fault". But there's nothing annoying about her...unless, of course, you find a woman demanding to be treated as an equal in a time where women weren't even allowed a voice as "annoying".
I mean, you are the one who came to me talking about how the game 'punishes' players for killing the NPC...

But anyway, my whole point was that this NPC seems written to mirror the false, alt-right narrative of feminism (presenting weak or dubious arguments, hypocrital, reliant on man-bashing etc) , as if the goal was to indulge them.
