So they admit that Christie and Bondi as candidates was a sham designed to generate "good" press?
This was a special election basically because of Franken's resignation.wait Tina Smith is up again in 2020? Didn't she just win re-election this week?

Here is the thing I come back to.
Trumps best asset is the media. Media shows his rallies. Hangs on his every word.
Beto has that factor. Media LOVES him. Like they did Obama. They will show his gigantic rallies. Fawn over his movement.
And it would drive Trump fucking insane to see someone draw much bigger rallies than him.
That's Betos biggest strength and it can't be ignored. Trump has dictated the news cycle since the 16 primaries. Beto is the only politician since then who has that it factor who can be the magnet for media attention to have them hang on their every word.People have and will call Beto a "celebrity" like they did Obama but that's a strength. I mean we have a reality TV celebrity as President who had name ID and could get attention in 2016. Beto can steal the constant news coverage around Trump which denies Trump the power to always define the topic of debate.

Well I mean I can't imagine him getting confirmed by the Senate and if loyalty is a prerequisite Bondi should be close to the top of the listSo they admit that Christie and Bondi as candidates was a sham designed to generate "good" press?
Beto can definitely drown out Trump and FOX's megaphone - as much as Trump is good at messaging, literally every single trivial thing Beto did in this cycle got coverage and became national headlines and he's not playing by the old school book of politics.
I actually think he's the solution to the Dems' every potential problem for 2020 - he can unite the party, catering to both progressives and "centrist" Democrats, hold rallies in packed stadiums all around the country, go on a road trip all over the swing states and make Trump look like the gross, obese, low energy clown he actually is on a debate stage.
Come on. If this guy can get confirmed after all the shit's that's been dug out on him in the last 24 hours, this Republic's truly lost.

He is the first politician of this last decade after Obama and Trump to seem to have that ability. If he can transition that nationally he will extremely difficult to stop.
Well at some point shit is going to hit the fan and this Fake Attorney General is big trouble for the DOJ and its ability to litigate, since any litigant can claim that he isn't a legitimate AG since he didn't go through the process of being confirmed by the Senate. As if, like Kavanaugh, this wasn't the plan from the very beginning.
I'm willing to say that Policy. Does. Not. Matter. for the President.

Today, if he is a racist and a sexist, tomorrow he may be a great civil rights champion — if he thinks it gets him five more votes. He has no core values.
Bernie Sanders believes Trump could be a Civil Rights champion and that he's just pretending to be racist. Get him out of the paint, this article is even worse than the last one. There's no room in the Democratic nomination process for this rhetoric on racism.

It sounds like he's saying the guy will do or say whatever he thinks will benefit him because he has no values rather than what that tweet is implying. I don't really fuck with Bernie, but this one is a reach.
Literally, the one policy position Trump has is he's racist. It's literally ALL he has. Bernie is implying here that he's not really racist, he just plays one on TV. Again, it's not a reach, it's another example of how anytime race comes into the mix, Bernie shoves his foot not so much in his mouth but down his own throat. It sounds like he's saying the guy will do or say whatever he thinks will benefit him because he has no values rather than what that tweet is implying. I don't really fuck with Bernie, but this one is a reach.

Ehh, that central park 5 stuff was probably just Trump setting the stage for an eventual racially-charged presidential run.Except, Trump has repeatedly shown his values over the decades.
How quickly we forget stuff like the "Central Park 5"

Why in the world are we giving Trump the benefit of the doubt on RACISM.Ehh, that central park 5 stuff was probably just Trump setting the stage for an eventual racially-charged presidential run.
If he comes second, sure... VP if he wants it. But him failing to win the primary would be disqualifying for top of the ticket. Whoever wins the primaries should be top of the ticket.Well I think he'd have to run for president, and then finish second in the primary to somebody like Harris, and I think that would be enough to justify the nomination.
But considering what he did in Texas with his gotv and the insane money he brought in, never mind how close he brought the race in Texas, there is a good argument to be made just on that info alone that he'd make a good VP.
I'm joking lolWhy in the world are we giving Trump the benefit of the doubt on RACISM.
It's literally his entire platform!
