Know it's off topic but I quite like watching some of ENBs early videos - I'm currently watching Demon Days - and seeing how his style choices has changed over the years!

I watched some Dark Days videos and my god, that haircut tho :D
Yep - that's the one I was meaning. Was just trying to find a good image! Also interesting how his earlier videos have a lot more swearing and responding to character's speech in game.
Oh, but you wrote Demon Days which is also a playthrough of Demon's Souls. Dark Days is Dark Souls.
So after doing a few Dungeon Chalices I started The Old Hunters DLC in Bloodbourne (this is the first DLC I ever bought, I despise DLC but I love Bloodborne so figured what the hell) and I gotta say, I'm am blown away so far, just finished..
Ludwig. What a great fight with a nice "holy shit" moment when he took out the Moonsword. It was pretty tragic seeing what became of one of the greatest hunters. Fight wasn't too bad, but damn did I feel for what he turned into.
Can't wait to dive back in and see what else is coming for me. Gotta say this DLC is pretty damn amazing so far. Love the look and feel of the place. Also the weapons... that Hacksaw.

I'm of two minds about Dark Souls II. I love a lot of it, but some of the biggest parts of what makes Souls games so wonderful- it really lacks. Level design and enemy placement come across as a huge step backward from DS1.
I can't say much about DS3 because I just started it, LOVING IT as usual.
Can't look now, but I am really excited to see more progress.https://twitter.com/SanadskYoutube/status/935995800500473857

It's ok you can find a new one in the Deacons boss room!
This is gonna be really interesting. I was waiting for Bloodborne data mining to happen.https://twitter.com/SanadskYoutube/status/935995800500473857

Nice. The Bastille is a great level. Tons of hidden nooks and crannies and it's just really well-designed overall, and the bosses are cool.
Dark Souls 3 dlc is amazing so far' problem is I want to continue it and I'm stuck with no avenue of souls (I've never ever farmed before) and only two boss walls I am at. Sister Friede and Demon Prince.
I only go solo. That's just the way I roll.
1. Is there any way to continue?
2. Which one should I devote myself to
3. Any major tips for either?
I'm level 92 assassin build
38 Vigor and 46 intellect ice 25 endurance and the rest low level
Level 92 is fine for Sister Friede and Demon Prince. Your Vigor is good but I'd put some points into Endurance to get your Stamina up. You need to dodge a good amount for both these fights.
1. You need to beat Demon Prince to continue onto the Ringed City. Sister Friede is the last boss of Ashes so you don't *need* to beat her, she doesn't unlock anything special when she dies sans the end of a questline, boss soul and some dialogue.
2. Devote yourself to Demon Prince so you can at least continue onto Ringed City and farm souls there to make Friede easier if you want to return to her.
3. Friede: Use headphones for when she disappears so you can find her location and punish her before she charges her attack. In Phase 3 watch where her ice shards originate, she should be near where the second cast was and you can get some hits on her if you find her. She's what I call a "Leap Punisher." Try and bait our her grab / leap, dodge forward, then turn around and punish her during the recovery.
Demon Prince: Depending on which one you kill first changes how you approach the second phase of the fight. Killing Demon from Below first will result in a more caster like phase 2 where he shoots out fireballs (IMO, this one is harder) where as killing Demon in Pain first results in a more Melee type Phase 2 where he uses a fire breath attack (This one is easier, and I always use this tactic) You can safely attack this one from behind, and when he uses his fire breath you have a good 5-10 seconds of free hits if you get behind him in time. Also, Thunder is your best friend.
Anytime, always happy to help.
If you're running 46 Intelligence stick with the Moonlight Greatsword. The Intelligence scaling is ridiculous and since you're used to it's moveset, stick with it. A common misconception people make when facing a difficult boss is "This would be easier with a different weapon / this would be easier with a different build." In reality you need to learn the bosses patterns and how to best respond to them with your given playstyle. There are bosses that are near impossible with specific builds (looking at you Smelter Demon 2.0) but Friede and Demon Princes isn't one of them. Don't be discouraged if you're doing low damage on Princes, we all do low damage on Princes, they purposely have a LOT of health. It's an Endurance fight... good luck :)
Edit: Nameless king and Friede have a lot in common. They're both "Leap Punishers" like I mentioned before, where they have quick, magic damaging attacks in a 180 degree arc. Keep your distance, wait for the gap close (they both have long wind up animations) then roll and punish.
Good advice. I can get friede to third phase but only a few times and then I get manhandled pretty easily but I think I can get it down eventually. Demon Princes I've only once got past the 1st phase. My strategy is to go ape on one and then the other. Trouble is when they both get involved I get killed so I have to be really fast. After 10th time I'm gonna have to change strategies :)
For first phase pay attention to the Demons colors. The one that's Red (Enraged) will relentlessly attack you, while the one that's docile (black) will stay back and shoot Venom at you. Either kite the red one away and go in on the black one, or attack the red one while dodging the Venom ranged attacks. It all depends which one you want to kill first. If they're both enraged.. run away and wait for one of them to turn black, then repeat.
For future reference in Executioner's Chariot boss, Alluring Skulls are great for keeping the skellies out of your hair. Aim the camera up a little and throw them far to get rid of them.2. Of all the bosses so far, the fucking gimmicky Executioner's Chariot is giving me the most problems. It's like if I had beat Pontiff no problem but got stuck on Wolnir. I keep dying in the stupidest fucking ways too, like getting myself pinned against a wall by a dozen skeletons and all of us getting oneshotted by the chariot.
Edit: I just fucking fell off the bridge on the way there after accidentally doing a strong attack.
Edit 2: Yay I finally killed him. I don't know why I had so much trouble dodging that stupid horse's attacks. Then I backtracked to Lost Bastille and found the Luna Belfry. Lmao @ the gargoyle boss fight. Wtf, I was not expecting having 3 enemies attack me at once.
of course why did I never think of thisFor future reference in Executioner's Chariot boss, Alluring Skulls are great for keeping the skellies out of your hair. Aim the camera up a little and throw them far to get rid of them.
Finally bought DS3 but I never really gave DS2 the time of day. Should I play SotFS before DS3?
i don't think it really matters. i guess it comes down to preference. Finally bought DS3 but I never really gave DS2 the time of day. Should I play SotFS before DS3?
If you plan on playing both at some point, then yes. Finally bought DS3 but I never really gave DS2 the time of day. Should I play SotFS before DS3?
Yes, the game does that to load the hub faster. Is it normal in Firelink Shrine where if you die outside if it and try to go back outside once you spawn at the bonfire that there's a cloudy wall blocking you for 5-10 seconds while the outside area loads?
I want to make sure it's not just me who has to wait for the area to load before proceeding.
It looks as if they altered the video level as well. As for Mergo, the patches version is closer to the art book, IMO.Saw this on reddit. Unpatched vs patched.
Unpatched was more foggy :(
Mensis boss is also sliiightly different too, although I think that was an upgrade.

just putting the link because spoilers.
Not weird at all. They are great levels!I kinda like Blighttown, even if it's kicking my ass. But I also liked Valley of Defilement, so it works out I guess. I'm weird.
