I bought a Razer Man-O-War PC headset for $169. I'm not sure why. It seemed appealing and I do need a headset, but already have a PS4 goldset which works with PC, I think.

Hordes of people were picking them up at Best Buy yesterday. They were down from $240.

Thoughts?

HyperX cloud 1/2 or whatever they have for almost half the price.
Philips SHP9500S (especially if it's still 60 bucks) + Vmoda boom mic pro or a $5 mic like a zalman zm1 lol.

And it's Razer.

I was looking at this my the batteries in my Elites died:

I ended up just buying a vboom mic thingie and using my Sennheisers connected to the dualshock, but I know the Elites are better than the Golds and people here have said MTC is reliable (at least when buying Vitas).

Razer headsets are the absolute worst. I've had two trash ones so I might just be biased against them. $170 is a lot for a gaming headset. At that price I'd buy some real headphones + ModMic.

I used epoxy to fix my Elites. It's just too bad they didn't make it easy to replace batteries. Sony really just wants you to throw out your devices once the battery dies, don't they?

Man, I wish Best Buy had a Switch better bundle than Mario v. Rabbids.

Nothing against the game - looks like fine - but the console is for my kids, and they wouldn't like it.

It's ok, my google home was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Info at CP still says 'Electronic information submitted by shipper.' Thanks Walmart.

And on the topic of CP: pay for one day expedited to Montreal. Gets delivered 3-4 days later. Amazing.

Got my Belkin Boost Up Qi Charger from Best Buy. Holy crap is this thing awesome. Charged up my phone super fast, love wireless charging, feels like the future! Totally worth $40, glad I didn't wait for AirPower which will be stupidly priced over $100, easily.

Do you feel like aglass phone would slip off easily? That complaint was the main reason I didn't get that specific one for my brother-in-law's iphone 8 for secret santa. Ended up buying him a samsung one instead.

Agreed, I got it too and it is awesome! I thought the same and made the realization it wasn't worth waiting for the overpriced option, esp with this deal.

I don't know how old are your kids but my two boys of 8 and 6 went crazy over this game and it was their first game of this kind. You'd be surprised.

My guess would be individually at probably something like Wal-Mart or a Best Buy that still has a sizeable movies section. Total guess, but the Phase One movies are probably in the $8-10 range at this point, I have to imagine. There were those Phase One and Phase Two collections, but they are probably mega pricey at this point.

No idea where to ask but, how do you tell the gauge of a speaker wire?

I have one of those "Sony Home Threatres in a Box" and my dog decided to be a bitch and chew one of the back speakers so I either need to A. Find a new cable with the connector attached, B. splice the stupid connector onto some new cable. Though I'm not sure how to splice or what gauge wire it is. I some how didn't notice until I was playing Assassin's Creed: Origins that my back speakers weren't working.. lol

Most home theater in a box will use thin, 18 gauge wire, sometimes thinner. It doesn't hurt to have thicker, and even thinner will likely make no difference given the small amount of power these system output. Note: lower number gauge is actually thicker.

Splicing is easy. Strip away 1-2 cm of insulation at the ends to expose bare wire and simply twist each end together. Wind a small piece of electrical tape around each individual wire.

I forgot to do the PO Box trick on Amazon to avoid Intelcom and now my latest purchases at gathering dust at Intelcom's warehouse since the 26th. And today Amazon's CS told me the package would be delivered still today according to Intelcom. That company is so frustrating.

One thing I've noticed lately in the past week is that my Amazon shipments are no longer arriving the day Amazon says they will. Instead they arrive at 6-6:30 AM the next day.

I wonder if thats the deliverer being overworked due to the holidays or if hes just slacking.

Last time I had something stuck with intelcom, I asked for a refund and a new package of the same item to get shipped.

And that's how I had two packages of the same thing for the price of 1.

Lol - I've had 2 orders go missing this week with Intelcom. I repeat, 2 lost packages and it's only Wednesday. Not sure if the lost items will show up or not but I can't see Amazon being too pleased with Intelcom's service. The Amazon CSR told me that she was on hold with them for 45 minutes trying to get more info without any answer - I can't see their use of them continuing for very long without some drastic changes.

I waited all day for my amazon package and I was just about to give up when the door bell rings at 8:12 pm. Sure enough it was a random guy who handed me my package. He thanked me for leaving the front door lights on and then proceeded to ask me if I knew where the address on his next package delivery was. I politely told him the general direction.

This is the first time I ever received a delivery past 6pm. Upon further research, it seems when amazon sends packages via the AMZCA designation. the delivery time is anytime between 8 am and 8 pm.

Any non-netgear router recommendations that is suited for gaming? I have the R7000 and it's given more problems than all routers I've owned previously combined. The 5Ghz stopped working recently and I just want to look for something a bit more durable.
