Hes also the showrunner on the upcoming Stargirl show. So I wonder how that will affect his comic output.... Really want this 3 jokers book to come out already so I can stop wondering what the hell it even is!
Ehh I doubt that. He himself said stepping away from such a big production role that he had meant he would have a lot more time for writing comics now.I didn't realize this. It won't help it, that's for sure. I guess Shazam might be all we get for some time.
Read Sleeper by Ed Brubaker nextI just mean generally. Should I read any other stuff in the old wildstorm universe next?
Damnation and Defenders have been pretty greatMan Synder and Aaron better do work because this year event wise has been a bomba.
Fetish detectedDoes she have those black wings in the book? Or is that a stylistic choice for the cover?
If she does, are there other characters with those?
It's a pretty fun and imaginative Choose Your Own Adventure with some fun mechanics and some wacky stories. It also has a fair bit of replayability. It's funny and it gets pretty crazy at times.Hey you all. I hope it is okay to ask a quick question.
Anyone here played/read "you are deadpool" and could give me a short review?
I'm thinking about buying the "You Are Deadpool: Deluxe Boxed Set" for my best friend as a Christmas present. She really liked the deadpool movies.
Why did you choose that avatarSpencer so far is okay at best on ASM but nothing amazing or outstanding or even good. He's consistent so nothing has been terrible... yet.
I don't get why people like glossy paper so much? It's harder to read and any lightsource that isn't the sun will obstruct like half a pageSaw this review for Justice League Vol 1 by Snyder, that uses the nice new paper stock that DC has from their floppies:
lol, what? What kind of insanely premium newspaper is this dude reading?
I've seen this sentiment before, where any paper stock that isn't glossy is terrible. Drives me INSANE.
Ehh I doubt that. He himself said stepping away from such a big production role that he had meant he would have a lot more time for writing comics now.
I'm very excited to see what his Killing Zone imprint will be.

It was just announced yesterday I think.Ehh I doubt that. He himself said stepping away from such a big production role that he had meant he would have a lot more time for writing comics now.

https://tvline.com/2018/12/13/stargirl-casts-hourman-lou-ferrigno-jr-dc-universe/Executive-produced by Geoff Johns (who will serve as showrunner), Sarah Schechter and Greg Berlanti, and based on characters from DC which were created by Johns, Stargirl follows high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore (School of Rock and All Night's Brec Bassinger) as she inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past. This new drama will reimagine Stargirl and the very first superhero team, the Justice Society of America, in an unpredictable series.
Ive got a thing for Angel wings lol.
Oh nice, that looks great.
Someone on Reddit seems to have gotten hold of Detective Comics #1000 cover early.
This is slighrly better then AC1000 just cause it has...well more then just man standing.
It hurts that these covers suck, but at least they have the variants
Jim Lees cover for Action 1000 was a variant? I don't think it was or this one.

What writers haven't you tried out?
Never in my life did I expect that I would become one of the accused. I will not speculate as to her motivation for making these reckless allegations, but I want to make it clear that they are false. Though our relationship was unconventional, we always treated one another with dignity and respect.
Esquivel finally released a statement and man, this is probably not a good thing to say when your entire team and the publisher left you:

• You know what's annoying? Having to save J. Jonah Jameson's life.
• Sure, he's been on Spidey's side for a little while, but that's after YEARS of him making Spider-Man's life a living heck.
• I feel like this amount of responsibility should come with even more power.
• Anyway, who, other than most of New York, would want to punish J. Jonah Jameson?

Read through something called Cloud Hotel by Julian Hanshaw. One of the most inscrutable and confusing reads since I read Starseeds last year. The author's foreword said the book was inspired from a UFO sighting he and his family had when he was a kid. That should have warned me. Some of the art work was decentish, making it a somewhat less painful read than Starseeds.
