Over the past few years I've thought of some good ideas while playing games such as gta, tell tales games etc.
A couple being rockstar getting the breaking bad liscene due to the scenery the character interactions and the themes.
Another being Bethesda using the elder scrolls engine for a game of thrones game or telltale before they were gone making a scooby doo game, has anyone else had cool ideas for devs and license?

Oh is it the time for this thread AGAIN?

My only answer AGAIN: Far Cry 2 by me.

I'm getting tired of waiting for that call Ubisoft!

Sonic the Hedgehog: Nintendo.

Naw, in all seriousness, the team behind Sonic Mania should continue to make Sonic games from here on in.

This thread is making me realize how boring it would be for most of these devs to get these IPs. Suitable for them but also seems extremely predictable or just too easy. Give Ace Combat to Team Ico or something instead.

Xenogears for Monolith Soft.
I really like the xenoblade games (for the most part). Xenogears is my favorite rpg of all time though. I just can't see Monolith Soft handling the IP in a way it really should be.
Xenosaga was really supposed to be the reboot of that franchise told from the beginning and even it was really different from what we had in xenogears. I can't imagine what they would try to do with the ip now. Just wouldn't be the same.

For my choice, it would be Future Cop: LAPD with supergiant games. I'm just curious how they would handle the art and music for a game so far from their norm.

Insomniac - Star Wars
Kojima Pro - Silent Hill :(
Capcom - Castlevania

Quantic Dreams - licensed IP's like Telltale used to do, but with meaningful choices and different paths/endings.

PlatinumGames. F-ZERO.

Maybe if Platinum specifically asked it could happen, but Ninty seems to have binned this series completely. Which is a shame, because the lore and world-building of this universe has so far been completely wasted. And I need a CapFalc character action game.

From and Castlevania (of course)

Advance Wars and Nintendo. Nintendo doesn't have the IP anymore, right? They couldn't possibly....

Rocksteady Judge Dredd.

Damn thats an awesome choice, when I saw the Cyberpunk 2077 Trailer & game footage parts of it felt very inspired by Dredd too, quite possibly obviously because Dredd is set in a Cyberpunk/dystopian world and I wonder if Mike was also inspired by it for Cyberpunk 2020 too. Usually these days when I see something Cyberpunk related in mesia it's usually oh that feels like Blade Runner or Ghost in the Shell or The Matrix but this one definitely more Dredd.

At this point I know Rebellion have hinted that there is a 2000ad based game in the works and that they made a mistake in The past by refusing to let others borrow the license develop their games, thanks to your post I now really hope it's rocksteady but they aren't allowed to announce anything until next year, hopefully they don't decide to develop themselves again don't get me wrong Rebellion games are okay but not the greatest which is whats Dredd deserves
