It's in the thread title...
Sorry, I meant to ask if the dub will be out then as well.
Man this shit is hilarious. Baki is really this underground thing that's just pure dumb fucking fun.Yujiro goes around fighting wild animals because most humans aren't up for the challenge. He fought an Elephant the army couldn't kill
Oh, so the dub will likely be out by then. I'm surprised that Netflix didn't just wait until March given their MO. If only they did simulcasts &/or SimulDubs.

My god I hope they continue animating this. I prefer the look of the older show though and musical score. That's nothing. One of the new characters introduced later in the story isa caveman that lived alongside the dinosaurs and could take on T Rexs by himself.

I take it the manga artist enjoys drawing highly muscular beefcakes with highly accurate muscular detail.Best part is he isn't even the most outlandish character introduced to the series.
I do like the atmosphere and the music especially of the older seasons. That said the art style in the current season is skewing much closer to that of the manga.
Based on the amount of Yasha Apes Yujiro has killed I wonder how many angry letters he's received from PETA? Maybe he just killed PETA?

I mean that's part of the reason Netflix doing release model like this.So can we expect the 2nd half of the show to get dubbed come March as well?
Ok so my biggest complaint regarding watching the third season of Baki first is that the characters barely felt like characters, but the first season is actually helping with this a lot. I'm not sure who is crazier Yujiro or his wife also Hanayama actually seems a lot nicer than what I felt from the third season.
Yujiro: "Time to eat"
*proceeds to curbstomp Baki*
Yujiro being this strong compared to Baki pretty much makes the people Baki defeated look like children's toys compared to Yujiro.
YujiroYujiro even makes Baki look like a chump in most of their fights
Everything for Yujiro is a means to make someone fight harder. He even seemed to enjoy
Yujiro vs some fucking Aliens would be great, it would be like the ending of One Punch Man season one.I'm actually hoping the author gets bored or frustrated with the story as it is and just has aliens invade and challenge the strongest fighters on the planet for a gigantic galactic tournament for the fate of the entire planet. The last Predator movie that came out had a small cross over event where they made some artwork for Baki Vs Predator.
Would have really loved if something similar to this happened in the actual story.

From what I've heard about Jack Hanma's backstory that doesn't even sound outside the realms of possibility. The series just started a new part and they've introduced another new character whose supposed to be insanely strong but I'm kind of hoping some mad scientist creates an unstoppable fighting cyborg or something.

They actually getting pretty close to that at some point..At this point i'm expecting some Jurassic park type shit where someone makes a trex out of some dna and they have to fight it
They should just do aliens and have a planet v planet tournament. They actually getting pretty close to that at some point..
Which means you can type some random bullshit and its probably happened in Baki.
Hahahahaha..They should just do aliens and have a planet v planet tournament.
No one told me DB super stole ultra instinct from baki
Has the author ever discussed his plans to end the series? Like, does he even have a conclusion in mind?
Baki comes extremely close to this. Hell, what ends up occuring is faaaar more absurd in fact! Baki is so damn enjoyable lol.At this point i'm expecting some Jurassic park type shit where someone makes a trex out of some dna and they have to fight it
A robot does not have muscles and is therefore unable to match up to any fighter
They could do a Muscle vs Tech motif. Have Yujiro fight a Terminator. I could really see it . . .A robot does not have muscles and is therefore unable to match up to any fighter
Agreed. No need to think too hard about it. Enjoy the show!PSA, if you are even partially enjoying this, and this is your first rodeo with the series, do yourself a favor and watch season 2 from many years ago. It is a pure tournament arc, with everything you've come to expect and enjoy from it. Turn off your brain and witness the insanity.
I decided to watch the first season. Baki's dad just stopped an earthquake by punching the ground really hard.
Alrighty then.
This robot would still be a better dad than Yujiro fucking Hanma.Oh don't worry it will be some nanomachine muscles or something that can finally rival Yujiro Hanma.
Yujiro did not want Mother Nature to get in the way of further fucking up his sons life as a means to give him real motivation to train harder.I decided to watch the first season. Baki's dad just stopped an earthquake by punching the ground really hard.

Haha! A quote from Baki:
"My martial arts training began at 3 when Yojiro tossed me head first into the concrete."
Uh, I'm pretty sure that's child abuse, not training.
And he kills her slowly as well. Broke both her wrists and crushed her spine and then just tosses her corpse onto her unconscious son.
Steve Blum's character really looks a lot like Sagat from Street Fighter.
