I'm aware of the sexual assault allegations, but he's been completely silent it seems. I don't believe he's on Twitter anymore. I can't find a verified account. His last major creative work was Bright with Will Smith. The latest news about him was him receiving death threats from someone.

Is he just laying low after the MeToo reveal? Did he quit show business?

I'm not sure if anything's come of the allegations against him since they went public, he's likely still laying low on social media because of them.

I think after the accusations he probably decided to fuck off and simply went silent. At least it was around that time when I last saw a tweet or video from him in my social media timelines

He's still creating, he just realized it'd be better if he were like other screenwriters and didn't talk so much. It's what eventually everyone will hopefully figure out. Not worth it to talk so much. His Instagram is pretty active of him and his girlfriend hanging out and doing stuff together.

Did those allegations just go nowhere? People one or two times removed to the alleged victims kept saying things were going to come out and then nothing happened. Some of the evidence put forth was either shaky or just him being an asshole.

I'm sure this it is a coincidence that he suddenly realized this after everyone found out what a scumbag creep he is.

Your Imagination
I always liked his videos geeking out/coming up with screenplays/fan fiction on various Sci-fi stuff. His wrestling videos were awesome too. I don't know much about what happened with the allegations - didn't see much come from it as others have said here. Maybe he will have another hit, maybe he won't - just have to wait and see.

There was a poster who had Max Landis avatars. I think he stopped using after the allegations.

He got rid of his stupid ass haircut/hairdo and suddenly he became normal and social without being obnoxious via social media.

Makes it even worse.

Bright was a really good script.

Did those allegations just go nowhere? People one or two times removed to the alleged victims kept saying things were going to come out and then nothing happened. Some of the evidence put forth was either shaky or just him being an asshole.

The evidence we saw absolutely painted him as a fucking asshole. He even confessed to this and apologized for it on IG for New Year's. But other than that? *shrugs*

Well yeah, the thing with kicking out the woman from the party? (Which while assholish it was in his right to do) Or when he told the emotionally broken woman that she picks bad guys to be in relationships with?

I'm talking about the people calling him a rapist and sexual assaulter based on an interview that was conducted with him. I ended up looking up the interview and it was for a VERY sex positive website ran by woman that were asking him questions that centered around hollywood and sex. What was quoted and taken out of context was him discussing how weird it was to be in LA and to be semi-known well known. From my recollection he was talking about how when a girl (likely an aspiring actress) found out who he was had latched on to him and how weird it was.

People went full on #rapist #metoo #grooming #Weinstein on him.

I still follow him on Instagram, he went through a rough patch after the allegations were floating around, posted some stories where he was whacked out of his gourd on pills. His recent posts seems to talk a lot about therapy, but he never posts about work anymore, not even the AWiL remake he's (supposedly) working on.

He vanished after allegations and a lot of flops on the trot, and after announcing he was remaking Werewolf in London

This episode of Best of the Worst is great on multiple levels. There's the mind bending awfulness of Double Down. There's everyone's reaction to Double Down. Then there's Max desperately trying way too hard to get everyone to like him while also trying to play up to the camera. Then there's everyone's reaction to his obvious attempts to be liked and play up to the camera

I know this is gonna age me, but I have no issue with celebrities that disappear from the map and quietly keep trying to pump out stuff. His case is different, cause he is a creep, but if other celebrities just decided to disappear too, I would not mind it.

The Carly Rea Jepsen essay was fantastic TO ME. She still hasn't came out with a song that goes against it. (that I've seen)

I'm a sucker for a good conspiracy theory though. Also his superman comic is suppose to be great. And Chronicle.

Also his first episode of the GameOverGreggy show was absolutely fantastic with him just pitching like 5 different movies. brilliant stuff.

Probably using Alan Smithee to write his scripts.

Not anymore than that embarrassing as shit video where he tries desperately to justify that movie he wrote and to be friends with the rlm guys. Honestly at first I thought that maybe I was seeing things but after he did the same thing to hbomberguy on twitter I saw that that's just how he is.
