They lie like that all the time. Also for stuff like Fargo and anything where they have first broadcast rights outside of the USYo Riverdale on Netflix even says "A Netflix Original Series" on the credits, I've never seen that?
Like first ep dude is going bla bla bla our town is called Riverdale and Netflix Original pops up :o
So they're not lying. They're actually paying the production company as much as the regular network is for broadcasting rights.
Netflix Originals sounds quite misleading when they're not involved in the production and they're not the first party airing it.
Where have you been, its been doing great since its 1st season.Wait... The shitty MacGyver reboot is actually doing good ? How is that even possible ? It's an insult to a cult classic... (cult classic to me, at least)

Written by the writer of Pathfinder, Terminator Genisys and who created hit superhero show Birds of Prey!Altered Carbon! Yeah, the budget was reported to be around $7 million an episode.
Literally always been the case. The very first show to get the Netflix Original branding was Lilthammer which was commissioned by NRK in Norway.Netflix Originals sounds quite misleading when they're not involved in the production and they're not the first party airing it.
So you have a problem with CW calling it a CW show, too?
It's still a simulcast show, so there's no firsts, btw.
ehm you know that TV NETWORKS dont actually produce the shows? different studios (like sony did with breaking bad) make the shows and license (to AMC in that case) so they can say AMC ORIGINAL
*In the USA.
The following day.
Now you're just arguing technicalities, simulcast usually refers to something being aired within 24h. Timezones are a thing.
CW pays for the production.
In many cases, as does Netflix.
With S2 i'd definitely bet on that being true. It's very possible CW only pays for part of the budget and Netflix pays for the rest.
Technically yes, but they go around saying "we want to make a Riverdale show" basically in concept stage to the major networks.
The political drama House of Cards will have a sixth season.
Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said the show enters production next year, with Robin Wright in a starring role.
The eight-episode season will "bring closure of the show for fans," said Sarandos, at a UBS conference.
Great news for the cast and crew.
I definitely forgot about the series, although I also haven't given any real conscious thought to HBO's future lineup in quite some time. I suspect that Succession show will be a similar 'hey look what's ready to air' surprise.Cool, I'll give them both a shot. I knew Barry was coming up soon, but I was surprised to see the Alan Ball series up and ready to go since there hasn't been much discussion about it aside form some casting a few months ago.
Riverdale, Crazy Ex, Jane, iZombie are all on UK Netflix within 6 hours of airing in the US.
CW streams all their currently airing series on their own app in the US, though they only keep the last five aired episodes up for some reason.Really? We only have S1 & 2 of Crazy here in the US Netflix. That's not fair...
I don't envy their situation, they should give the character a proper send-off (I'm assuming he'll die), but they need to do it without using the actor (even in flashbacks or while playing a corpse).
Seems simple enough to just have him assassinated off screen. Fitting, too. For got the character and the actor.I don't envy their situation, they should give the character a proper send-off (I'm assuming he'll die), but they need to do it without using the actor (even in flashbacks or while playing a corpse).
At first I felt the same as you. I remember rushing in from playing outside to catch MacGyver every Monday night. Loved that show.Wait... The shitty MacGyver reboot is actually doing good ? How is that even possible ? It's an insult to a cult classic... (cult classic to me, at least)
Of course they can kill him off screen and I'm sure they will, but it's curious how they'll show an aftermath of his death. The easiest solution would probably be to skip a few months or maybe a year to let things settle down, but would it be the best choice? Anyway I'm just guessing here, I dropped HoC after season 3. ;)Seems simple enough to just have him assassinated off screen. Fitting, too. For got the character and the actor.
So Grizzlyjin from the other place finally responded to my message asking if he was coming over after posting ratings over there for nobody for a while,
Said he no longer has the Gaf email, is there any way we can get him over?
Was a great part of most of the tv threads there.
Thats what I meant sorry, the paid email that was used for Gaf.
I dunno, they could use a double for Frank and just shoot the assassination from the killers POV in the crowd and just go straight to Claire arriving at the hospital to be told that Frank died from there and then use it to her advantage politically. No real need for a time skip, I think.Of course they can kill him off screen and I'm sure they will, but it's curious how they'll show an aftermath of his death.
