I think Starkiller Base might be the only map where the defenders can almost spawn camp the attackers lol.

Just discovered that Sullust, Bespin, Pillio, and Vardos all have their own loading screens. They only show up if you go to mission select and choose a mission that takes place on one of them. Neat.
So Maul can have one side of his saber deactivated or damaged for a short period. Interesting.
I know this frustration. Especially in Strike, my favorite game mode.
I'm always thinking why are they so scared? It's not real life. There's not even a k/d ratio. Get to the objective already.
Has the game been patched at all? I played it for the first few days and got really bummed out by the Star Card system and moved over to Assassin's Creed. Has the experience gotten better or is it same as before?
I'm concerned that, given this system, I'm going to be at a severe disadvantage against other players (which is probably why I always like playing Officers/support classes).

The progression system has not been changed one wink yet. Something might happen Tuesday, but the first big patch isn't supposed to hit until the 13th or 14th or so.
As an aside, this is an excellent sniping spot if your team can capture the one platform:

I cannot complete the milestone for reaching all the Multiplayer goals. The one that gives you 500 crystals.

Same here, it's a bug. I'm fairly certain they are aware of it, so we should expect it fixed soon.

Ah that might be it. Don't know what's taking so long with updating the progression so credits can be earned based on performance instead of match length. Starting to think it's not coming
Picked this up for $25 with that Best Buy glitch. I'm in fam. Trial was too much fun to pass this game up, microtransactions be damned.
It's one of my favourite game to hate play. I'm so bad at it and it's so polished and fun...
Again this game is great with the little details that give players the immersive feel of star wars.

I'm pretty sure on the PS4, its faster to just close the game, and restart it than to have to wait after quitting a game.
So Lando, a hero that I literally never use, and Chewie, who I haven't even *unlocked*, are both higher level than my Darth Maul and Rey, who I both use all the time.
This is why people AFK farm. It's completely justified when the progression system is this bad. And still no word on any changes.

Not it's not. Ever. The only ones you're fucking over are the people who are trying to play the game and have fun, not the company that came up with this progression system. And if your favorite heroes aren't leveled up yet, you're not spending your credits/crafting parts right.
Not saying it's good, but knowing that this is how it is, why the hell wouldn't you unlock some shit for the heroes you actually use instead of crying about it?

Just found out that Rey is really good. Honestly didn't realize her run and stab ability downed opponents including heroes. Really helps a lot.
Murdered a Boba Fett by using her mind ability or whatever it's called and finishing him with the saber when he couldn't fly anymore.
So far I love every hero for different reasons.

Rey's insight ability and it's short cool down, makes her the most valuable and useful hero in the entire game.
I see you are on a hunt for all of the challenges like I am. Forget about the "Own Path", tell me how you feel about the 5 or so different "Get 50 kills with Torpedoes" Hero ship challenges. They seem fucking impossible to me. I bet they think that it's easy to get them like the first game. They are most def not. Especially the Boba one. Slave I is probably the most fun, yet most awful hero ship in this game.
Except at this point it's basically guaranteed that the microtransactions are going to be returned to the game virtually unchanged, and progression will remained tied to artificially expensive loot crates.
Crafting parts are provided at a snail's pace, again artificially slow. Hooraay, a challenge just gave me 15 crafting parts, my next upgrade on Vader costs 480.
And I have used plenty of crafting parts for the heroes I use. Doesn't change the fact that the heroes I have crafted upgrades for are at a much lower level than the ones who happen to get RNG shit from the loot crates. Which is trash progression.
See my line above about how crafting parts are provided at a trickle, and they require credits and loot crates too.
Then again, given how aggressively you were attempting to downplay the posts about the UFC microtransactions earlier in this thread, I'm not surprised that you're being deliberately disingenuous about this game as well. Other players can use my AFK dude to get their hero challenges done and earn their 10 crafting parts lol
Remember, DICE has the ability to solve this problem in a matter of minutes. The instant they implement performance-based credit rewards, AFK farming goes away. It's that simple.

While we're on the topic of Maul. He's still so much fun. Whereas it feels like I am fighting the controls with Luke, Maul feels like pure butter. I really like Vader (to the point I am getting him epics) but he's so fucked when people start rolling due to his slow attacks.
Had the SICKEST Yoda unleash on the Death Star II just now. Like, I think 7 or 8 people at once? If Yoda's basis saber attack wasn't as yanky then I would play him all the time on the light side.

I hate playing as any class except for Assault. I've got no motivation to get them all to 500 kills. Partially because Galactic Assault is a terrible mode and got really boring really fast.
Where did they say a patch is coming tomorrow? Source?
Trophies (at least 1 so far) are bugged. I've won one match of each multiplayer type and the silver trophy youre supposed to get for winning one of each mode hasn't unlocked.
Last Jedi season starts tomorrow.

Daily Crate crafting part increase, increase to endgame payout rewards (including top players), and daily Arcade credit increase to 1500, "much larger" changes still coming.
Today is the first weekday I've been randomly off in like a year, I guess no one else is around right now lol. I'll go ahead and hop on and take one for the team to see what it's like.
Edit: Daily Crate gives 15 crafting parts now instead of 5. I got a Star Card + 75 credits so that part doesn't seem changed. This seems pretty fine to me honestly. Will hop in a match now and play for realsies (no challenge bullshit) to try to place high and see what I get.
