Top players getting 16 kills a game dont have to worry about not finding attachments. Theyll kill so many people they're inevitably come across the attachment. If it were that good wed be seeing it.

without auto-fire attachment that gun is burst fire garbage. you wont even pick it up.
only fully upgraded its pretty much a better AR-99
that heavy ammo pistol tho....its so good. sometimes I will rock that for most of the game. its like a shotgun
I tried it tonight. You're right, it felt awful at first, like it took forever to turn but I did notice my aim slowly getting better. If I could just stop the panic firing I'll not be totally useless!

It allows you to scout an area/make a push with out having to commit to it.
It allows you to quickly move your entire team from one piece of cover to another if health is low.
It can be used to bamboozle opponents from 2 pieces of cover (portal from cover 1, run to cover 2, engage opponents, use portal to reset to cover 1, kill from cover 1 whilst opponents are watching cover 2.

I can't figure out who I like the most. Just started clicking with Wraith after being Caustic and Mirage most of the time. Wraith's ult in a group (I'm with randos most of the day until friends can play) in a group that pay attention to whether I'm placing them... is fun as hell. Not sure about the Mirage and Lifeline, could have been in a Party together, but zero was communicated via mic. All pings.
If you know how to place them/read them (including the eye or "I'm watching this location") you don't even need a mic to win. That said, surely a fully mic'd and communicative team still has the advantage, but damn if Respawn didn't make a lot of really smart decisions.
In that winning match above, there were three times were we were getting into fights with multiple teams, or a 3rd party would show up as we were engaging our initial target. Each time I put a portal down, and we escaped or rotated on one of the teams to put THEM in the middle of two teams. It was fun fun fun.
The match immediately preceding that one I had both of my squad mates leave the match the second they were crated, and I killed the squad that pushed us only to then be alone...
The match immediately after the match above, the circle was still HUGE with only us and one other team left. Took forever to find each other.

I had a very laggy game on PS4 just now. Felt like 10 fps.
Also I need more aggressive teammates. If we don't get a kill within the first 30 seconds of dropping then we are doing something wrong.

Whats the verdict on the response curve option in the controller settings. Ive changed to Steady and think it has helped my aim hard to say for definate though.

I believe at least one character will be able to tell if he's been spotted. Can't remember who though so you do have to be careful with it.
This can all be avoided by playing with friends. If you don't have any to play with then it takes a bit of effort to get social and make friends with players you'd like to play with again. I do it on every team based game I play.
Played all morning and couldn't get a kill. Then one game I came to the rescue of my squad who knocked only to run out of bullets just as the enemy was reviving his friend. Randoms on the mic just yelling at me for sucking in that clutch moment.
Winning all weekend but struggling today.

As I said above—Wraith remarks when someone ADS's on her. I do not believe that any character has a response to being pinged.
She gets a prompt to "warn the team" when that happens and she will call out "eyes on me" or something.
It's fun reading all the "I didnt like BR until Apex Legends" posts around the internet. A sure sign that they did something very right
That last idea is pretty situational but smart. Didn't think of it.
I think it works like in Blackout. She gets notified when an enemy sees her, either through ADS or cross hairs. Other characters will remark after they are shot at
They really need to put more weapons scattered around. I shouldn't have to land and run around for 2 min just to find a pistol.
It has a superior feel imo. Fortnite and Blackout's gameplay gets the job done, but doesn't feel amazing to me or anything. Whereas pretty much every action in Apex has a stellar feel and inherent satisfaction with it. Doesn't hurt that its quality of life leapfrogged the genre significantly.
Caustic, he's fun as hell to play and can be free wins depending on the final circle.
Pair with Pathfinder for the ultimate bm circle advantage bm.
Finally tried the game out and played with a full group the other night. We all sucked and are still trying to get the hang of it, but it was fun. So far, after only having played a little bit, one of my few criticisms when it comes to the gameplay is that I don't really like the ammo management.
I haven't seen many complaints about the micro transactions but I'm not too happy with what I'm seeing here. I really dislike that some legends are locked and take a lot of credits to unlock. Sure, right now there is only 2 and they give you enough at the start to buy 1 if you want, but if I want the other it looks like it will take a lot of time, and in the future when they add more it will get a lot worse.
They could have all the cosmetic MTX in the world and I wouldn't complain, I just really don't like the idea of a bunch of legends being behind a paywall or a long grind.

Yes, I believe that that happens when she is aimed at, not when she is pinged.
I hate Bangalore's pick lines. Getting close to despising them. She's a totally generic 'cool and edgy' dudebro type character that I dislike in modern military shooters like CoD. A dudettesis if you will. I swear if she was a male character people would be rolling their eyes.

I know right lol, plus you dont get that much from dying fast in this game.
Yeah she is my least favourite character. She is pretty boring compared to the other characters.
All ammo is colour coded based on the weapon colour on the hud if that helps.
Were they maybe talking about Bloodhound? Enemies can definitely see if that pops off near them.
If everyone acted like Bangalore it would be a problem but since it's just her it's fine. I too am not a huge fan of the overt military obsess character but it's rare that it comes from a black woman, and she sells it. There's a charm to how she says the lines compared to your typical COD character. I'll make her the exception.
Most of the characters are like that lol, just game characters that play up their gimmick to make an impression.
I think lifeline is the only i really like and im neutral on the rest.
You should play Caustic if you want to hear edgy, "A new kill leader, i must confess it's what i long to be"
This game is amazing. Played a bunch yesterday. Easily the best battle royale and plays like a charm. Probably my favorite PvP FPS experience since Modern Warfare/ Modern Warfare 2.

I got killed on the flank in the final battle with the other squad, but I had the the gold knockdown shield and revived while the battle was going on. I kinda hid myself and let the battle distract. Woke up and killed the team from behind.
Again they get any gear they want by virtue of killing half the server and running around at will. This is not an issue. If it were that good shroud would be picking it up preemptively in anticipation of having it loaded out like he does with devotion, like he did with the vector in pubg. It doesnt matter that it requires the attachment, guns that ostensibly are better than what we know as the meta, as you and others claim, would be getting TONS of play by pros. It's nowhere to be seen.
i thought so too until i realized you can shoot the base of the gas canister to make it disappear, they need to buff him.
