no one is debating the number of features, they're debating the featured artists themselves

J Dilla made his MPC3000 musical.

There's a halo of reverence around J Dilla, a producer and beatmaker from Detroit who made some of the most fascinating and influential beats in hip hop history. Before his early death in 2006, J Dilla worked with countless artists and producers - from Erykah Badu and Janet Jackson to Busta Rhymes and Madlib - and developed an off-kilter style of rhythm and sampling that transcended the machine he used to create music, the Akai Midi Production Center, otherwise known as the MPC.

DJ Shadow will always be the guy who I think of when I think of that specific piece of gear.

Big Sean making a Metro tape feels kinda corny to me. Just seems like he doesn't know who he is and is falling behind the youth so he's vying for that attention again.

He'll probably get it cause he does have a knack for one big hit a tape. I guess what I'm saying is he's made a lotta trash.

Yeah because metro has set such high standards for getting his beats...

There might be more to this Em album than most anticipated. Untouchable is more than I expected Em to tackle after that BET cypher. We have a white rapper going in guns blazing against the racism in America and the injustices minorities face. Let's see how the rest of hip hop responds. I know this puts Ems haters in a spot...

I still can't stand em's new flow. How did it get so bad? I'd take the accents over his "hey guys I'm gonna get serious with you now" flow at this point.

the message is cool in that em song, but i never want to hear it again lol

Yeah that Em is cringe inducing. Relapse was his last decent album.

Other than that this Bon Iver got me in a deep pit of despair. Thanks Des

Tons of Migos tracks in the new QC comp. probably worth just pulling those out and putting them in a playlist.
