All the time. I probably watch streams/game-adjacent content more than actually playing them, and it's been that way for the last few years. Switch definitely helped pick the hobby back up in terms of it being less of a spatial/time commitment in a "I need to carve out a worthwhile session and sit on my couch" kind of way, but I still go through weird spurts.
I refuse to watch it. I've made it this far with VERY minimal knowledge of the game.
It's an industry defined by multinational conporations another one tagging in ain't going to fuck shit up more than it already is.
Wanna finish DMC 5 but the dumbfuckery around the voice cast is making it real difficult to go back.

I'll eat my words if I'm wrong, but I'm kind of amazed at how many people chose the "both" option for the poll in the Google GDC thread. I don't know why Google would invest in anything other than streaming tech in the gaming industry. A company new to the industry making a box in 2019 is dumb.

Google just shut down Allo, which they intended to replace Hangouts. They're shutting down Hangouts later this year. Google is a weird company.

This is fantastic. One of my favorite games I've never beaten. I do try again every so often.
