Rubberbanding in a star fighter is the worst. You can easily fly into objects or other fighters.

We destroyed not only one, but both MTTs today on Kashyyk and won just before phase 2. I'm sure I will never see it happen again.
I think they may need to buff the infiltration blaster (EE-4 wannabe) to a slightly higher rate of fire. Seems like it takes too long to fire that thing again.

Pretty awesome. Most matches dont even get the transports down to half way.
I had to youtube it because Ive never seen anyone attempt it. Apparently the ATATs have to be under half health and exposed from the disruptor rifle. Its a Superman 64 style "fly through the rings" game to complete it.
Map rotation seems really weird. I didnt play on Death Star 2 the entire first week, now it comes up all the time, same with Kshyyyk. Now I always seem to miss the maps I used to have come up all the time like Starkiller Base (I dont miss this one) and Hoth.
I still have never played on that map in the 15 hours or so I've had the game.
The matchmaking is awful. Not only does it never adjust teams after rounds, to distribute the good players, but it will very happily start strike games with (for example) 7 v 4, and then add the next player to the team with 7. It is total bullshit, because a 2+ difference between the teams in strike will often mean the one with more will get a huge head start, usually steam roller the first round, get more battle points for special troopers, and result in people leaving the other team because they consider it all a lost cause.

Just ran into the best player I've ever seen in GA, no bullshit or anything, this guy was just fucking ridiculous. Straight up backed out of the lobby the second the match ended lol. I'm usually top 3 most games and I went like 2-12 here, almost entirely to this guy, and I was still like 5th on my team. Dude wound up getting something like 60 eliminations as the defenders on GA and basically single-handedly cockblocked our entire team to the first phase.
This would happen to me every once in a while in Battlefront 2015 as well. If we're gonna be real I would consider myself probably top 10-15% or so in the last game, but there were maybe 5 or so players I recognized by name in the last game (A ~10k playerbase and playing in the same couple of playlists for a few hundred hours will do that) that I would just immediately back out of the game if they were on the other team. Like I'm not mad, but it's just incredible to me that a single player can carry a team of 19 other people. In that game though it was a little more understandable with certain heroes/maps.
That aside now that I have all of the non-Starfighter stuff done here a lot of the balancing and other issues that are not as apparent when you're mostly just focused on challenges rear their heads, it's definitely turning me off on the game a bit.
-Flashbangs are fucking ridiculous, and seem to have the same effect/length on heroes
-They need to fix how Overtime works
-Tired of getting killed immediately by starfighters when I'm on the ground. I really miss Ion Torpedoes (unless I'm missing them??), but even if they were in starfighters are so cheap they'd just respawn
-Tired of dying instantly as a hero if someone gets the drop on me for approximately 1 second
-Tired of invincibility rolling through lightsabers and force abilities (???????)
-Heavies are ridiculous and easily the best trooper class, they really need nerf some of their shit (Overcharged Sentry and the shield being the biggest offenders)
-Even though I suck with them personally Wookie Warriors are just way better than any of the other special units which aren't even worth the time calling in IMO
If it wasn't for the TLJ daily challenges I probably wouldn't even be playing the game right now. They need to address some things ASAP, and that's ignoring the progression issues. I think the overall gameplay and maps is better in this game, but even I'm thinking of going back to the last game at this point.

The rubberbanding is 1000% not fixed. You'd think the servers would be handling the load better considering this game sold a fraction of what it was expected to.
The in game HUD is the most indefensible, trash HUD I have ever seen in a shooter. Lost multiple fights because I literally couldn't see the enemy behind the giant 100% opaque fucking DEFEND OBJECTIVE marker. Straight up amateurish garbage with the HUD. *At minimum* it needs options for icon size and opacity.
There is a glitch where if Vader is Force Choking you and someone else stuns / knocks him down and he drops you, you can't jump or use any abilities until you die and respawn. Wasted a Rey run, thanks.

Of course they're dragging their feet fixing progression so who knows when any of the actual bugs will get fixed.

Not that you're wrong about the controversy around this game, but I think the shit Bungie pulled / are pulling w/ D2 is worse
I think this happens when people squad up. It puts them on all one side so they can play together and then anyone going against them gets stomped. I play with a few guys every now and then, but honestly it's not even that fun after a match or two. It's just too easy with a group of competent players against randoms, especially on Strike or Blast.

Ion Torpedo is a Heavy card. It's part of my anti-armor build.
Nah I think he's talking about having to pay $20 to continue to play vanilla D2 stuff at a higher level, which is complete BS so I traded it in. Won't get off topic about it though anymore

Wookie warriors can make pretty short work of most heroes. They're low key OP.
Ah you are correct. That actually bums me out even more because that just even further stacks Heavy as the only class that has good/great anti-vehicle options, especially against starfighters.
I swear to god in BF2015 I was the only motherfucker who ran Ion Torpedo as the Rebels to deal with AT-ST's etc.
I agree, I just personally am goddamn terrible with them for some reason. I think I'm just not good with the bowcaster at all, I don't usually do great as Chewbacca either.
I got a PS4 Slim with this game (bundle) and i can't even play online i keep getting the 1066 error, i hope the campaign is good at very least.
I was mostly referring to the $20 expansion being like 2 hours of new content and then a bunch of stuff to buy in the microtransactions store.

Rented this and I'm not the most critical person but I really don't like this single player. Its really frustrsting and "feels cheap" for some reason. Think a lot of that has to do with iffy animations and cinematics clearly looking low res and not in HDR I think on my 4k tv. The actual gameplay looks far better, is this a bug? If not they should have done a seperate 4k cinematic pack like Shadow of a War. This has to go up there as one of my most disappointing games, even outside of the whole controversy.
What about leveling up your class?? Can't you only do that by buying class crates or whatever?
I've played another solid 15-20 hours in the last three days- Blast is such a good mode. Having a better time there than I ever was in GA. Only noticing the rubberbanding on Kashyyyk now, but every now and then I get disconnected and have to reboot the PS4 to play again.

I almost wished they hadn't raised the credit cap to 1500. It was a fun diversion to play 4-5 Arcade games for a daily bonus.....but having to do 15 just makes me want to bang them out as quickly as possible and move on.

Hero Crates always give you either 35 or 50 crafting parts which offers you a direct non-RNG path to craft and upgrade exactly what you want.
I'd assume Trooper Crates also give you the 35/50 crafting parts, but the odds of getting the trooper card you want (much less past common rarity) is going to be so low you're better off buying the Hero Crates at half the cost for the guaranteed parts.
So all the Starfighter Assault related Achievements done.

Im really shocked how much common stuff is missing in this...
A proper Squad spawn system and a Commo Rose would be something great in this.
And yes the matchmaking sucks. The game really isnt trying to create fair matches. Its either getting stomped or stomp the other team.

Me too. Ion Torpedo and Cycler rifle. Everyone else was bacta/jetpack, but not me. Headshotting with the rifle, and then torpedo in the walker.
It also came in handy for dealing with air strafing from the opposition. Guys in A-Wings feeling safe flying straight in at lines of stormtroopers running to the uplinks, heh. Sure, go ahead. I'm just lining up my shot.
I'd like to know too. If they are just killing you and not legitimately cheating, that's a pretty shitty move.

This team really needs some auto balancing between maps. Played with the best team in a while, first win ever on Kamino. But we completely curbstomped the other team, and that simply kept going for a few matches.
The other team almost did this to us. They were attacking the second the map started. They got us down to 27. I couldnt believe it. My team was so bad. They didnt care to protect the mtt. So many people play GA as if it was TDM. When they noticed that we are about to lose on phase 1 they began to protect the mtt. Phase 2 was the end though. The other team had a gameplan. My team was a bunch of porgs.

Whats the population like on xbox one? I dont have a PS4 at the moment and am thinking about picking it up for the xbox, however I bought the first game for the xbox a few months ago and it multiplayer was completely dead so was a waste of money. Dont want to make the same mistake again
Genuinely my biggest issue. Having to go out to the menu, spend a few minutes late loading to get out and claim rewards, then a few more to load into a new game is rediculous. But it's there to try and incentivize you to buy loot crates and stuff (or at least it was). It's really clunky not being able to claim rewards for your match at the end of the match/between matches.
