when shooting while using the boost or ADS, don't you slow down a bit? anyone know the percentages?
so does "main" just mean you always just pick one and only one every, single, game. (doesnt seem like an actual thing.)
... i thought it was what you just explained .. that you have a preference with one legend over others. as for me im comortable with many and like the same goes for the weapons. buuuut if this comment and conversation is directed to whoever threw a hissy fit, that isnt what i was getting at. so uhhh ..... idgaf if hes right or not.
Protip-You can turn off head bob in the options now! This affects bigger characters more than smaller ones.

it always seemed like Caustic/Gibraltar felt bad sprinting.
Don't you get Apex Packs after lvl up anymore? Had two packs, leveld up, still two.
Man, this sucks. As if the lvl ups didn't take long enough at high levels; they really want you to buy these things. Thanks for the info though. As your level increases the packs get spaced out more. It goes to a pack every 2 levels and eventually a pack every 5 levels I believe.
My problem as well. Skill ceiling is so high in these games. Just this day it got a bit better for me. When you have Battlefield experience it definitely comes in handy. Avoid the open, stick to good cover – good positioning – and try to use the position to your advantage, let the enemy come to you, straight into your fire. Simultaneously, spread out a bit as team mates when you hear enemies coming towards you, but stick more together when they already have spotted everyone of your squad. It's more difficult to kill a bunch of three guys when someone decides to flank.I'm still willing to give it a chance, but I wonder when the fun actually starts.

Respawn has said they wish to balance weapons not just on statistical value, but rarity as well. I don't think that's necessarily the way to go, but we'll see how it plays out over time. As it stands, the game weighs "low value" weaponry way too heavily, in my experience.I hope they can touch base with fans on more balance changes soon.
Gibraltor pretty much feels non-existent at this point. I never see the guy. At this point, I really want him to have like 150 base HP. Wraith still needs a bigger hotbox, and I still think Caustic and especially Mirage are way too underpowered. Mirage's ult is straight up awful and no one ever even bothers to use it.
And as far as guns go, Id like to see them consider dual wielding the lower end weapons like alternator and pistols, or giving pistols the inherent ability to swap to them faster (Wingman excluded) to make the three bottom tier pistols somewhat worth carrying. I know they have an intended power curve, but Id still like to see them be options to consider.

Holy shit I played with the most boring squad ever. They just wanted to camp the whole time. And once they finally engaged they got destroyed. What's the point in waiting and trying to get better loot when you get outgunned your first fight?
Honestly might be the worst randoms yet. People that wait all match are so boring. And it's even more insulting when they get slapped by the first squad they came across.
It's fucking magical is what it is.
I still don't know how I feel about the game, as it still follows the problem (from most Battle Royale games) where I'll wonder around aimlessly and get shot at from a distance, or I'll get gunned down by someone with better gear when I drop.
I'm still willing to give it a chance, but I wonder when the fun actually starts.
They added Razer Chroma support, it's probably that. The new update make my mouse lights stay on even though they are supposed to be off.

I was in the same boat as you when playing PUBG, but this is one different. The map is much more dense and you move fast with some additional movement options. I would advise to just get into a lot of fights early to get a good feel for the different areas and weapons, always look for what your team is doing (you didn't mention that at all) and just move to the next match if it goes wrong. Is it bad that I got 2nd place when I sat in one spot throughout the whole match, and only lost when a random grendade had killed me?
I'll try and take your advice and run with it, but everyone has been screaming their head off with how much fun this game is, I'm starting to wonder if Apex is the wrong game for me. (I love competitive FPS's, for the record.)
One could argue that you're more likely to buy packs if you still get them reasonably regularly in order to fill out gaps than you are to buy packs when you never get them naturally and the odds they only have shite in are high.
My reading comprehension sucks. That's the second reply you've made where you've totally missed the point.
BOOM, this is how you play Battle Royale! Zero effort, zero loot, just sneaking from one circle to the next and then getting the last team. Absolutely disgusting, but also absolutely glorious.
Octane is great. Played about a dozen matches using him yesterday and he's stim shot is good for the speed boost and the health trade off seems balanced with no quick the cooldown is. His ult is ok but I'd like to see it launch you a tad further and higher just to make it more of a utility for reaching high up cliffs and buildings.
I hope they can touch base with fans on more balance changes soon.

Well, not buildings like the guys but more structures. Like the being able to go from the slope to the too platform at the watch towers or to the top of the cliffs near skull town or even the top of the middle buildings in Skull Town. I'm not asking for a dramatic increase but maybe just a 1-2 character models higher and 5-10 meters further? Even if this only applies to Octane while he is stimmed, that could potentially make it better. What building is there that you cant reach with his ulti?
I tried it on some of the highest buildings and walls, got there easily.
I dont know do people want his ulti to fly them half way to map or what but its pretty amazing and very versatile.
