It's crazy how quickly he brought Demo Derby, which was then spun-off into Metal Gear Scanlon almost as quick. I remember watching that first DD where they played the MGS demo and Dan had the lightbulb go off in his head. Mario Party Party was also quickly pretty soon after he started.
Finished Kawami tonight. It was really good. Not as good as 0 obviously I didn't do much of the side stories the ones I did were not that great. But overall really happy with it. Hoping for Kiwami 2 on PC!

fighting the drunk man wasn't happening after last night so I went back to chained stairs ogre or w/e; after a couple more tries I stealthed him and then like... I dunno timed/positioned the fire tool way better? I don't know what happened but he seemingly got stunned by it a lot more that time and I beat him
fought the guy right after that and it only took a reasonable number of tries; I was always good at clearing all the other enemies and I thought he was a reasonable fight? the time he chased me into that tiny dead end hallway was scary though and the camera was not a fan, but after that I managed to have a solid run and

moved forward, Headless is fucking terrifying and the note did not prepare me (I knew I would die but I didn't want to not see what it was); I'm sorta glad I was spoiled for the snake by a gif because it would have given me a heart attack
took a break for some stuff around this but then fought the horse riding boss and killed him on my second try!! which felt rad as hell, even if I had to use both resurrections and some pellets to do it, but I also fucked up the firecrackers a lot anyway

it's funny i'm playing zero again for cabakura reasons (i never finished the original storyline) and since I can't resist tooling around a bit to finish up some of the majima sidequests it's funny going back to the old engine.

I was pretty much set to finally drop cash on a Rift, only to find it's sold out everywhere and its successor model doesn't have a firm release date. lol.

I'm still at Genichiro since yesterday. I think I got his patterns down because I came very close to taking him to his final phase a couple of times. Just need to be extra patient and then we'll see how many times I'll have to die again to learn his final phase bullshit. However, my form of taking breaks from him was going to other parts of the game. Took down a mini-boss + acquired new prosthetic equipments and a gourd seed, feels good.
