Yes. The processing box does some audio magic and you lose that if you don't plug in.
Edit; wait, don't plug into the controller! Plug into the VR headset.

That's the exact right attitude/expectation to have.
I've been hyped for that one since reveal. Was worried it had been cancelled.
Getting a bit more active is a fringe benefit to VR. :)
Before I do anything dumb like scratch my lens,
1) are there anything on them I need to peel off before use or can I wipe away?
2) any benefit using the included ear buds vs my gold wireless headset?
Setting up here
Any can't miss suggestions for me while I'm willing to impulse buy?
Same here, I think it's normal. So mine is set up and played for just a few minutes. First thing I noticed was on black screens and gray or dark scenes. The grainy MURA effect is quite present. Is mine defective or is this normal
The quality of life improvements are really good. If you can do it at not much of a loss, I highly recommend it.I am seriously considering trading in my PSVR towards a rev 2 even though I have the ibis switch.
Does PSVR version 2 have earbuds attached to the headset? I'm confused as to what the earbud difference is between v1 and v2.
Did you get a separate charger for them or are they plugged into your console?
I highly recommend this accessory for all PSVR owners. I just got mine and it's great. You can charge two moves, two DS4s and wireless headphones all at the same time. (Never use wireless headphones on PSVR though, they have to be wired in to get the binaural sound) plus it is a spot to stow the headset itself.

Still faster than charging through your console ;)
Give the Statik demo a try. I loved it and bought the full game. It's got some two-player puzzles using the 2nd screen app, too.
I use a headphone amplifier to get around any low volume output from wired headphones. There are plenty around.Fam, the sound in those earbuds are loooooow. Is there a way to adjust the sound? Would the gold wireless pluggged into my headset output same sound?
The sound buttons are underneath the eye piece of the VR headset. You should be able to adjust the volume and mute.
I just searched for one at Gamestop and there is one 6 miles from me. Try yours

No luck in my area. Might have to ask my brother in Houston to see if he can pick one up for me and ship it to me.
Do you play RE7 standing or sitting? Found standing with moves being more immersive for most games, wonder if it's the same with a controller.Snagged the Elder Scrolls bundle. First game I really dove into was RE7(may have been a mistake, lol). Holy crap. Was able to play about an hour with smooth turn on, but started to get motion sick not too long after. I'll adjust some of the movement settings tomorrow. Very impressed with the immersion. I need to get these Move controllers charged up as well, the fact that they had zero charge is a bit aggravating. Hoping to dive into some more games soon!

Hey I think I'm going to get the Skyrim Bundle for Christmas. I was wondering what are some of the best games to pick up? I have Rez already and Resident Evil 7. Other than those, what are some suggestions? Thanks.

I used smooth turn and quick movement on RE7, but I had to start with short sessions (20m-30m to 1h)Played 1.5 hours of RE7 last night and messed me up a bit. I was doing okay in the tighter corridors of the guest house, but I had to stop once I got to the main house. Reading through this thread about motion sickness, I think I'll step back to some stationary demos. I was using smooth turning and trying to coordinate my head turns with the analog camera movement. The angled turns didn't feel right to me. Have to come back to that one later. I had no problem with Until Dawn, that was fantastic - played well and looked great.
What's a good way to get rid of the disc version of Skyrim from the bundle if I want digital only? Just gotta take the disc alone to Gamestop or try and sell it online?
I'm unaware that there's anything like a different ending if you've played it at all difficulties. Just play it at a level you enjoy.Asking again: for anyone who has played Until Dawn: Rush of Blood, do you need to have beaten every stage with EVERY difficulty option, or just beat each stage with the highest difficulty (Psycopath)?
Only weird thing was I had to be close to camera otherwise the game had me positioned just outside the cockpit. Is there an option in game to remedy that or do you have to be THAT close to the camera?
I didn't realize the Game Awards sale would only last through yesterday. Wanted to pick up RE7.
Hopefully with these new bundle discounts and free headset trials being sent to people, Sony will have another big VR game sale on psn up before end of year.
Eve Valkyrie demo was cool (and looked much better to me on Pro vs the base console when I tried it last year). I just mute my TV/soundbar.Super quick question, where's the option to turn off sound from my home speakers and only output from the VR headset jack?
Heh, I guess that's a pretty clean way to do it. Thanks!
Any time your positioning feels off in any game your first step should be to hold the options button to recenter your position in the game world.
