Run in windowed mode (not borderless!) then use srwe, works like a charm, any AR is possible, 21:9, 1:1... Borderless has apparently some limitations, why I have no idea.AC Origins
Can't get the game to do 21.9. Tried custom res with DSR off. Nothing in the game will let me select the ratio. No problems with AC Unity and Syndicate.
Assassin's Creed Origins
Not a huge fan of this photo mode. The focus effect strength can't be changed, and it looks as though we can't even rotate the camera. No real options except for a few filters (the majority of which are horrible). Way too basic imo.
Weird. Just kinda worked by default for me. Though I have a 3440x1440 monitor. I can also use my 16:9 and 2:1 resolutions with no issues.AC Origins

You can control the focus strength. When you're in the DoF mode, it's the right stick on the controller. On PC, you have to hold right click.Assassin's Creed Origins

Tools coming later today (photomode everywhere (so also in cutscenes), resolution scaling > 200%, unlimited movement of camera, tilt. ToD likely later as I'm not passed the start of the game yet so ToD isn't active)
You can change focus strength with right stick by moving it up or down. Also on D-Pad left and right controls Vignette and up and down Brightness (or it is reversed).

Filters are mostly terrible and the bounding box is way too close. But...
Otis to the rescue :)
Oh boy. Otis. You're awesome.Filters are mostly terrible and the bounding box is way too close. But...

:)Otis, I've messed around with your camera tool. Thanks! Great work as always.
Hmm. It crashed on me immediately. Very odd indeed. Well, glad it works for you! :)So, I'm using MSI Afterburner and unlike what you said in the readme it is working for me.
Taking screenshot with the uplay overlay (even with the uncompressed version) doesn't capture reshade.
Yeah see the readme why that is ;)When I'm translating/zooming the camera I get some "melted artefacts", I have to rotate the camera a bit for them to go away.
Use ctrl/(x-button on controller) to rotate it precisely back. The reason it's not there is that if you need to reset it, it's often easier to simply disable and enable the camera to get things reset (as in a shot where you need it corrected, you can also correct it manually by rotating)It would be useful to have an option to reset the tild offset and maybe a 90° rotation.
:) Hmm could be indeed with focus point perhaps? I use camera move set to controller, and thus use keyboard/mouse for dof control etc. combined with input blocking (numpad .), does that work better?

Regarding Time of day: not sure if it's in the game, actually. Sure you can skip ahead with a perk, but it looks like it pauses everything and uses a visual gimmick to skip ahead, the time isn't ticking ahead during gameplay (at least not in the beginning of the game): you can't see the sun move for instance. Perhaps later in the game they enable it, not sure. Same was true for Watchdogs 2, so I've still hope...
So many cool AC Origins shots, but even if I'm buying now I can't play immediately. Holiday please come quick :^(
Are these taken with Ansel? I read somewhere that Ansel was introduced in one of the updates.
I've been using the in-game photo mode. I'll be using Otis's tools in addition to break out of the tiny default bounding box though. And maybe for cutscenes if I can figure out how that is supposed to work (freezing them and all).for origins are you all using the in game photo mode or something else ?
Ansel is working with redout and it's quite neat but IIRC these weren't, pretty sure these were just a quick tap of a printscreen button I had mapped to my ds4 controller. But I could be wrong about that, sorry.
They updated the graphics and performance not too long ago for redout, really good looking game, most of the time. Some maps have some crazy high saturation and contrast though.
2 more I had of Redout:
^redout effect from not balancing the vehicle vertically with the track while going fast
^pro tip: hold forward most of the time here so you don't drive yourself crazy on the tubes, just be careful with the leaps from tube to tube and going too fast
Here's one with the ansel side-bar to show the options. Previous shots (I'm almost certain) were standard ones at 1440p.
Ah, so it's true there's Ansel in this game, and good to hear about the improved performance and graphics too. Will get this soon, it's been on my steam wishlist for too long.
Really great looking game and I hope could scratch my Wipeout itch :)
EDIT: I forgot to ask, does Ansel in this game limited in range or has bounding box? Or could you roam anywhere freely with the camera?
