No bill Bernie produces, or any other candidate, is the gold standard in the primary aside from Elisabeth Warren's.
The moves, described by campaign sources to POLITICO, amount to an acknowledgment by Sanders that his online-only approach to raising money was leaving significant amounts of money on the table. That cash could be decisive in a primary with nearly two dozen candidates competing fiercely for money: Sanders' top rival, Democratic front-runner Joe Biden, is raking in huge sums from major Democratic donors in the early weeks of the race with a slew of fundraisers.
Because they're all whiny wimps as well. They think they're tough guys because they tell themselves they must be.I legit do not understand how his authoritarian fuckboi fanbase can watch their leader crying and shitting his pants over how hard it is to be the most powerful man in the country and think, "yes, this is my vision of a strong, capable leader."
Edit: Also considering the time this was posted I'm imagining him just waking up in bed soaked in his own piss and immediately grabbing for the phone

Christ, I don't it hard to believe some of these accounts are real
So just a couple of weeks ago the reporting suggested that Mueller was ready, willing and eager to testify. Now we're hearing he's a whimp who's scared to appear "political?"
This is pathetic. And still no word on when he leaves DOJ?

Aleast the Chinese shills arent subtle like the Russian ones. The number of people defending an authoritarian government is kind of surprising.
Also the number of people who cannot spell "Huawei" despite it being in the topic title...

Also looks like some people are being banned in that thread.
God I hate having such a common name. I got freaked out all of a sudden.

@RepAdamSchiff
DOJ has accepted our offer, and will begin turning over to the Committee twelve categories of counterintelligence and foreign intelligence materials beginning this week.
Our subpoena will remain in effect, and be enforced should DOJ fail to comply with the full document request.

You're going to shed in my food either wayHey all, I'm thinking about running for something. I'm not sure what yet. It might be a 5K or a political office. Anyway, I hope you vote for me!
I will shed in your food if you don't.
Attorney General William Barr on Tuesday said he has noticed a troubling trend of nationwide injunctions issued by lower courts that have taken their toll on President Trump's agenda and threaten the political process for future administrations.
Barr, who has been accused by Democrats of protecting Trump after the release of the Mueller report, told the American Law Institute that there is a new trend of judicial "willingness" to review executive action, which injects courts into the political process.
He pointed to the district court in California that in January 2018 issued a temporary injunction to block the Trump administration from ending Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA.
I like the Medicare for America bill, but neither one has any shot of passing a Senate where we have to consider Republican voters. The issue should be what can win over more moderate/conservative Dems, because Republicans will never give any kind of healthcare reform the time of day.Do you really think Medicare for All has a shot of passing through Congress? Yes, it may be the more idealistic bill as Beto recognized, but can it really get past a Republican majority in the Senate which we are likely to see in 2020? If Medicare for America can provide everyone with high quality UHC as he claims, why waste time pushing a plan that will disrupt a system an entire party will fight to protect when it will most likely end up in failure with no one receiving access to a public option at all? Medicare for All relies on the destruction of private insurance whereas Medicare for America accepts its existence in the American insurance system, and I think that makes all the difference in the world when it comes down to actually getting people the healthcare they need.
Why subpoena a witness when you're already talking with them about when to appear? Subpoenas are for uncooperative witnesses who have to be dragged into the room to testify.

NEWS: House Judiciary Committee Chairman NADLER insisted the House should hold BARR in contempt the first week of June, when they return from Memorial Day recess, according to sources in the room.

I guess. But they've been in discussions for weeks apparently. If I recall correctly, Nadler said that he was initially certain Mueller would testify and then about a week and a half ago said he wasn't as convinced anymore.I like the Medicare for America bill, but neither one has any shot of passing a Senate where we have to consider Republican voters. Blew my mind last night when I found out that the consultant McConnell used to get Deripaska money into Kentucky was former Senator David Vitter, you know, whose wife was just fast-tracked to being approved to a US federal judgeship despite wacky answers to questions of settled law.

Yeah that's a better way to frame it, but a Republican majority is still going to be hard to break in 2020. Medicare for All isn't bad, but I think people tend to forget not all Democrats are in line with the Left.I like the Medicare for America bill, but neither one has any shot of passing a Senate where we have to consider Republican voters.
