It's when you lob a grenade underhanded instead of overhanded, not only do you have better control over it, but you have a decreased risk of the grenade bouncing off a wall/roof and killing you.
When you're cooking a grenade to throw it, press LT.
Yeah different people have different standards, but I agree that they are being incredibly critical for a game that's not fully released, should just rename Game Preview to "EXTREME ALPHA" so people have a better picture. :P
i love reading the chicken dinner stories on here :') <3 It's a fantastic feeling when you get one.
You've even got some people using an early access game as a barometer for the capabilities of the XB1X. It's blatant console wars flamebait and I'm surprised the mods haven't cleaned it up yet.
I think some folks are having some great conversations. Others are not. It'll all blow over by the weekend regardless lol.
Yeah I just saw it. I immediately noticed how even on medium settings the AA is a whole lot better on PC than on X. I do hope they fix that eventually. And the fact that X is even at only the medium settings to begin with.....
But the most important thing really is smoothing out that framerate because again, yes it's not unplayable but it also certainly isn't great or anything. No way are we ever getting 60fps but at least a lock at 30?
What do you mean with "a whole lot better"? The IQ is almost perfect on the X thanks to super sampling, how exactly can it be better, or like you said, even "a whole lot" better as perfect?
I know your posting is not intended to, I read your stuff over the last few days, but some postings just read like big troll post.

Seriously, this game has definitely problems. But bad IQ/AA is not one of them.
I know what you mean by watching the videos, some parts does indeed still flicker but most of the time the picture quality is just perfect, one of the best super sampling examples for these consoles.

enjoying the game a lot, MS is smart for bringing this to xbox. Going to sell like hot cakes.
So much fun. Only a couple games in but I feel the hook. It's sometimes a mess.. But man it's fun. It can be so tense! Still learning all the buttons and I Died once cause I was sitting in the inventory menu out in the open.. Oops!

Yup me too, the people that want a perfect fun game that count frame rates and resolution shouldnt even be playing this lol
I have never found myself getting so riled up about a game this way, it's so frustrating reading all these comments and the seemingly hyperbolic outrage about the game, the console, the developers, the game preview program, everything.
Even when the franchise I love as much as any media (Halo) get criticized online I just turn the other cheek, but it's so frustrating to see people get turned away from an awesome experience because of (Imo overblown knee jerk reactions and unfair criticism).
My buddies and I are loving every second right now and I hate thinking there are other friend groups missing out because of inflammatory headlines, video names and threads titles.
I know the internet is a bottomless pit of good and bad opinions, so here I am just getting it off my chest.

Yeah, part of me feels a bit because I think some are going to miss out on a ton of relatively cheap fun because a YouTube personality decided to cobble up a video showing relentless jank.
I mean, let's be real: the game next week might not be the same as the game we have now. And the game now will likely not be the same game a month from now.
Ughhh made it to the final two, shot first in the final encounter and ended up getting out shotgunned. This game is insanely addictive
Interesting. There are a lot of people that have gone through a few games without any kills, so for it to be at 609746 and you had 2 kills, I wonder how many more are behind you.

It's not about kills. It's about getting loot. A decent gun and a scope. Still haven't gotten a sniper yet. Then it's about surviving while the storm pushes you all closer and closer together. Then it gets tense and all you wanna do is go prone and not move.
Or be an ass like me as get impatient and as soon as you get up someone sees you and ends you.

Game needs a slight aim assist until they fix the frame rate. The dip in frames when you shot is annoying and affects aim.

As far as getting a sniper rifle, I've had much more success using the Mini14 over the the KAR98K. So if you manage to find one, try it out.
Na man, I didn't even look at ERA's opinion on this game, I just went out and purchased it. Now I also own it on PC, I wanted to see how it played on my 1X and let me tell you, the game is dog shit compared to the PC.
I won't ever play this until it gets decent. I feel as if I wasted $20. Fortnight is good on console and that's free. Microsoft in desperate mode. I guess if you don't have a PC and want to experience PUBG on console you can, but it's night and day on PC.
I am loving driving around in vehicles. Some of the physics on the vehicles are really good. I was running around in a buggy, had killed 2 people already and was looking for a 3rd victim. I see someone running towards a building and I hit it, I barley miss him as he was able to get inside. Decided to give him so grief and buzzed by a few times. On my 3rd pass another person showed up and were able to blow out the rear left tire, car drops a little to show it running only on a rim...as I get to some grass I try to make a turn and sure enough it slides out a bit since it is just a rim. I decided to leave the area to fight another fight.
Game is just a blast and even with the tech issues it is still fun. I have played 14 games and had no crashes or any major issue other than the frame rate at the beginning. Sometimes the button prompts for getting in and out of a vehicle don't registers, but that is not common at least for me. Got my first top 10 finish on my last game yesterday, finished 9th. Just had my best game on this and pc. Two kids some how snuck up on my buddy. I saw them on the second floor of a house and I moved in. Chucked a nade through the window and snuck in downstairs. I then threw a smoke up the stairs which allowed me to sneak into a side room upstairs. Once the smoke cleared they had no idea I was upstairs and I easily took them out. It was awesome.
Later took out two kids camping behind a tree and ended up 3rd overall.

Why is there no way to turn off autofill? This is beyond annoying. I don't have enough friends to play a full squad, and the game can't seem to find a rando.
Nice lol. Reminds me of my first kill last night when I land and see someone else land in the same area right before me. I see him run in a house and I'm like I'm not about to let him arm himself. So I sprint in and he's in the bathroom. I proceed to punch the crap out of him while his back his is turned and kill him lol...

Playing on the original XBONE and it doesn't run nearly as bad as I've heard. Bad graphics though.

Two tops tens in a row in solo. Still no Chicken Dinners but feeling it click a little more and a little more each game. Granted I've been saying one more game for like 5 hours now but still! I usually get super competitive especially with shooting games but this game I still have a blast with even when I have a crappy round. Guess it helps going in with the mindset of expecting to lose since ya know I'm competing against 100 other people.
My Dad actually started playing it as well after watching me play a few games and he usually hates online multiplayer games but he was all proud to come in 26th and actually get a kill so that type of thing is awesome to see.

Just played a game before bed..was busy with other things to play much. Came in 15th. Found my first scope and it was a 8xScope! Only killed one person, but still. Caused a lot of vehicle damage to 3 players driving around. Was funny as hell too. I was laying down on top of a hill looking down on the road way and once I made contact it was funny to see them bob and weave to get away. Caused some damage to people running around, I was a bit far away, again on a hill and shooting across the road to an adjacent hill where a guy was laying prone. Could tell I hit him once or twice and he managed to get behind the tree and I loss sight of him. One of the jeeps found where I was, but it was a rocky hill I was on and he could not get to me. I had turned around and was behind a tree and he ended up taking off. I was running to the next circle with 17 players left, heard shooting to my right side and dropped and went prone. The guy was about 5 feet away from me prone shooting at another player in a vehicle. He did not hear me because of his shots, so I took him out. The funniest thing another player then runs up and goes prone like 3 feet away from me, but before I could get my shot off he got me and ended up 15th.
Game is a such a blast and like my previous games I bought in game preview I am looking forward to the next update to see what they improve/fix.
