The playing card? From the preview for the next episode.I saw Jerome but where the hell is that Joker card scene from?!
I still think this show would be absolutely fine with no Bruce Wayne. Send him on his journey to travel the world and keep Alfred in town.
He was great until this current mess which even then was fine for a bit but they ran it into the ground.I still think this show would be absolutely fine with no Bruce Wayne. Send him on his journey to travel the world and keep Alfred in town.
Jerome should kill this kid... so that doppleganger can be the real Bruce Wayne/Batman, cuz this kid is not it
The actor is fine. It's just that Bruce is being a bratty little cunt. Alfred should've knocked him the fuck out.
Its almost as if he's on a journey of self-discovery... to be honest they made Bruce too focused too quickly. He needed this self-destructive streak earlier. The actor is fine. It's just that Bruce is being a bratty little cunt. Alfred should've knocked him the fuck out.
No, he's just being a brat for the sake of being a brat. Self-discovery isn't about being a cunt to the man who's taken you on his son of sorts, or about splashing your cash to impress your friends. Ship him off abroad and let him become Batman as the story goes. Its almost as if he's on a journey of self-discovery... to be honest they made Bruce too focused too quickly. It is called being a teenager who also has to deal with a lot of shit including the knowledge that he murdered another person. No, he's just being a brat for the sake of being a brat. Yes.It is called being a teenager who also has to deal with a lot of shit including the knowledge that he murdered another person.
But he's just a brat, eh?
Okay, I see there is no reasoning with you.
It's my opinion. I'm entitled to it. Much like how you're entitled to yours.
If I skipped two seasons and just picked up on the current episodes, would my brain hurt much?
Yeah, and I think its a dumb one. It's my opinion. I'm entitled to it. Much like how you're entitled to yours.

Yeah this been too flip floppy for my tastes. The idea is great but the change was too drastic and too quick, like we needed at least another episode worth of build-up to swinging on then firing Al.
Actually no, this could potentially buy Gotham multiple seasons.
Disney didn't get the Fox Network Gotham airs on,Yeah, I was wondering about this... How does this deal work now with a WB property on a Disney owned station now? Does it not really matter since TV shows are kinda made by all different parent studios and sold off anyway?
Ah, ok.Disney didn't get the Fox Network Gotham airs on,
But they get the actual Fox television productions that aired on Fox.
So basically Fox Network loses stuff like The Simpsons,(Fox Network could potentially license it back though)
This is why it could potentially help stuff like Gotham, Lucifer and Lethal Weapon, they are Warner Brothers television productions and would provide stability until the Network eventually finds its new direction.
Agreed.I find, that Bruce reaction to anything is perfectly normal. The boy got another child killed, because he was too much into his mission, and then killed another person (well, thinks he killed him. He killed the guy, who is known for coming back from the death). You can't get away form something like this and just be normal. Bruce reacts extreme to an extreme situation. He is afraid of his actions and what he became, so he starts to react unreasonable and tries to numb his feelings. Makes completely sense and show uses other story-lines to keep the tune from not getting to grim (even so we reached rock bottom for all main characters).
All this also makes sense in him becoming Batman. At the start of the session we saw Bruce trying to play his Playboy persona, which didn't worked at all. But now him having go through such a phase for real, he can use this knowledge to really play this roll perfectly. Acting from true experience is very persuasive.
The same goes for him actually experience, what it means to have somebody get killed and killing somebody. Those feeling will help him building his infamous rock-solid morality and having sympathy with criminals (he wants to stop AND help them, if possible) and other people, which went to serious traumas.
If Gotham plays his cards right, it can show, that Batman isn't just a hero, because of its gadget and money. But also because of his will and compassion for others.
Yup, I think it's working fine (if a bit stretched out, but still fine so far) and really looking forward to when he breaks out of the spiral and starts coming back.Bruce is acting like a brat, because he's also processing events through a child's mind. The whole thing is him running away from responsibility for his actions. It didn't make as much sense earlier, but now it does to me at least. Can't wait for the inevitable face turn tho.
Yeah, get ready for one hell of a reaction when he finds out the truth. Just like the amazing moment when he abandoned Penguin. Also, Zsaz clearly cared about Old Man Falcone. He's not going to take it well when he finds out Sofia killed him.
Well he lived on the streets with Selina for a time. As much as i like Batman Begins, it kind of make more sense, instead of him going into some far away country. Batman is known to understand criminals and especially how Gotham works. So him having spend time on ground level, actually gives him this knowledge. Coming back from a far away country feels like he is disconnected from the people of the city.I know this isn't supposed to line up exactly with Bat-mythos, but it would do a world of good if Bruce left to travel abroad for training for a season or two... even if they panned back to show his progress from time to time. But I don't think the show runners have the nerve to pull it off, as they seem to think Bruce needs to be interacting with others in some capacity.
Good to know the character is coming back. That's a great horror character that deserves more Gotham airtime.
