I was highly skeptical after he released that pos always strive and prosper but the singles weren't bad and the album itself is really good. Everything is on point; features, production, ferg's rapping, etc. all there.

You can say Thought ain't the greatest rapper ever, but you can't say there's ever been a rapper greater than Thought. Nigga been out since Clinton and he gettin Jimmy Fallon money, but he still rhyme more hungry than EBT kids.
Fuuuuuuck the haters. Revival has everything. Dude has destroyed tracks for the better part of this decade left and right. He may express himself musically however the fuck he wants. Storytelling is dope, bars are dope, flow is dope, features are knocking it out the park and there are so many concept tracks and themes running through the thing I don't even know what I should listen for next, wordplay, meaning, all there. What a writer.

The Jay IDK album though hella underrated
Been listening to it on repeat since the morning. This is MC'ing at its finest. Just absolutely devastating on the mic. Black Thought just completely blacked out right there on some rapping matrix shit. Quotables for days. Best freestyle of the year no question, I already had the freestyle of him and Meth on Sway as my favorite. This easily tops it.
This is something special. Guess I'll start listening to The Roots asap.
