This show is so good. In a just world it'd have a huge budget and everyone would be watching.

I thought they said something like "the only thing that can live on the surface is the roaches" - I assume there's oxygen and stuff, since that one guy was walking around, but I think even without the aliens eating you, it'd still be impossible to survive. Like, just the solar radiation (thanks to diminished atmosphere) would get you, right?

Or because there's no living thing so nothing to eat because the roaches ate everything

That little fight with that inhuman was better choreographed than anything in Iron Fist lol. I generally don't like this arc of fighting tournament, it's been done and seen so many times before.

Hmm, I don't find Kasius such a compelling villain anymore. It's all dragging too long, and it's starting to become a little boring. So far it's almost gone down for every episode, although last week did have some cool moments. But to me, it isn't boding too well this season. That can change with the next episode of what I've read about it though.

What the fuck, the package is a fucking baby.

Oh shit, May vs Sinara fight!

Holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiit, Fitz my man!!! I did not see that coming. Wow, so he's here too.

Just caught up on the last two episodes. It's crazy how inventive and fun this season has been so far.

I'm also incredibly impressed with what they're managing on a broadcast budget, even a smaller budget than previously. The sets are great and this new world feels alive.

That being said, I really want to know what is currently happening back in the present day.

I need my Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider to make that space entrance before the arc is over! But really, I have a feeling we're gonna see him again, be it in space or more likely on Earth.

I feel this season has been worse than last season so far, but S4 had such a strong start where it was literally ripping off the pages of the Ghost Rider comic book. This season I find the Kree (Kasius/Sinara) plot to be weak and with the latest episode it has turned real boring. Kasius holding fights and selling them off to the highest bidder, this has just been seen so many times before. Jemma's subplot isn't much more interesting. What is interesting to me is how our crew is dealing with their situation on the Lighthouse and how that is gonna play off Fitz. I may even have liked S2 more but I got to be fair and say we've only been fed 4 episodes so far, it'll pick up I'm sure.

Not sure if I like these blue people as villains, can't really take them seriously.

Also, why does this Star Lord wannabe look like Bradley Cooper?

I trust these show runners. They haven't let any arc drag on too long and I feel like now that Fitz has arrived we'll get one backstory episode and then one escape episode as the pace picks up significantly.

I love this arc because it's more character centric without the forced romance of season 3.

This arc is a bit of a mixed bag for me so far. Started out strong enough, but has not really kept my attention like last year's phenomenal season did ... but if I remember right, the first arc started off a bit sluggish there too.

Excited to see space explorer Fitz this Friday, might be the shot in the arm the arc needs to keep me interested.

Yeah. Fitz, in his quest to find Simmons, accidentally uncovered the secret for eternal life. He came to the space station the long way around. He will help the gang to get back to their own time, and his reunion with Simmons will be tragic, as he knows he won't be able to come back with them, and that restoring them to their own time means he will never obtain eternal life and will either fade away or keep living forever alone, depending on how timelines work in the MCU.

Started to get bored of the arc until Fitz walks through the door.now hyped for next week

Thoughts so far

Knew daisy would turn the inhuman to get side, her own space team
Coylton and may are also great
Betrayal guy was annoying, hope they forget they welded him into his room
Poor Gemma, hope she gets a better story soon

Bets on lmd Fitz?

Twas the first thing I thought when they found out they were in the future, Fitz to carry on his legacy started on an lmd, hence the photo saying working on it.

I was wondering about the science myself. This earth is ripped up pretty bad. It's basically just a big chunk of rock now and no longer a globe. Is it possible to sustain an atmosphere at all? Doesn't a planet need to be a somewhat spherical and have weather patterns to have an atmosphere? With the core ripped open the magnetic field would be all messed up. We're talking some pretty major earthquake and tsunami wiping what remained of the surface. It seems to me that a catastrophic event of that magnitude would make the planet unlivable almost instantly, so how could anybody survive?

So that confirms that episode 12 will be March 9, which means we're getting six episodes between this Friday and then. Since the Winter Olympics will be Feb. 9 to 25, I'm gonna guess the schedule goes like this:

Jan. 5: episode 6
Jan. 12: episode 7
Jan. 19: episode 8
Jan. 26: episode 9
Feb. 2: episode 10
Feb. 9 through 23: break
March 2: episode 11
March 9: episode 12

That also means Black Panther will debut during SHIELD's Olympics break on Feb. 16, for what it's worth (probably nothing).

If they keep airing new episodes with no breaks after the Olympics, the season finale will be May 18, unless they have a two-hour finale on May 11. Avengers Infinity War debuts a week before that on May 4 — again, for what it's worth.

Hopefully with Fitz in play things will get moving, I'm losing interest as they keep dropping new shit for the setting when it's moot by the nature of the show. Is there anyway they actually let the Earth get destroyed like that, much less don't go back in time? The Kree stuff will probably carry over to the next arc but all the intricacies of the human/kree social structure feels like a waste. The dreary stone walled rooms and the soft spoken demeanour facade covering psychotically malevolent Kree dude wore out their welcome for me.

Nah, it wouldn't have an atmosphere. I doubt it has the mass to keep the atmosphere from dissipating and like you said, it certainly doesn't have a magnetic field to shield it from the Sun irradiating the surface. But whatever, there has been dumber concessions in the show and image of the Earth looking that fucked was a pretty neat visual.

YES.

Man, I'm really interested to see what is happening on Earth. Will we ever see the S.H.I.E.L.D. base again? Is S.H.I.E.L.D. even still a thing after coming out to the public again? How is Talbot doing? What about the Superior?
Considering the Shield base blew up, I'd imagine they'd have to have a new hangout when they eventually finish their time in space.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time getting invested and by episode 3 I already couldn't wait for them to go back to the past. Glad to hear that Fitz is back though. I haven't watched the latest one yet but I'm considering waiting for this arc to end and watching it all in one go.

I'm really not feeling this arc. Shame because I love space marvel, but this has been so fucking boring.
