I don't watch a lot of NBA (hardly any) but my impression is that Russ is a big ball-hog and I can't imagine that working out well with Harden. Who's taking the game-winning shot?

OKC is a trash dump now though. The odds of even 1 of those draft picks panning out to an all-star player seem quite small to me but maybe I'm wrong.

Eh, doesn't seem so bad for OKC, shitload of picks, get rid of Westbrook who wanted to leave after PG left, get a veteran PG who they can also trade to , let's say, Minesota who want to get rid of Wiggins.

Presti wanted the whole fucking farm for Westbrook. I'm glad Riley didn't cave lol

I'd be surprised if this were the case. I imagine Presti probably wanted one prospect in lieu of a pick (since Miami doesn't have as many to offer I believe) but I would venture to guess the Miami deal fell through because they needed to involve a third team. It seems like OKC just wanted picks and salary dump.

When the rockets collapse in a couple of years those picks will probably end up being better than the clippper picks imo

For a rebuild I think OKC came out damn well considering they basically had to get rid of George and they got ride of Westbrooks contract

We knew CP3 and Harden weren't getting along, so this shit was bound to happen. The funny thing is Russ ain't much of an upgrade. Him and Harden are shoot first guys. Damn. I've never been so excited to watch an NBA season and I've been watching since the early 90s.

For lovers
It's not about them paying the tax. Paul George blindsided them with a trade demand and Westbrook didn't want to play for a lottery team so they had to trade him too.

They were paying an ungodly amount of money for a team getting bounced in the first round every season. If George wasn't traded somebody (probably Adams) was going to be.

Kawhi Leonard is a murderous psychopath amidst all of this.

Killing dynasties and franchises left and right.
