It doesn't seem like it's toxic just that you will get eaten alive by space bugsHmm, so the surface of Earth is toxic and people die there? Virgil is still alive, or a Virgil from another universe? And they've send this delegation, why?
we usually spoiler preview stuff in here though, right?
Or because there's no living thing so nothing to eat because the roaches ate everythingI thought they said something like "the only thing that can live on the surface is the roaches" - I assume there's oxygen and stuff, since that one guy was walking around, but I think even without the aliens eating you, it'd still be impossible to survive. Like, just the solar radiation (thanks to diminished atmosphere) would get you, right?
This season has been incredible. I feel like all bets are off and anything can happen.
Not sure if I like these blue people as villains, can't really take them seriously.
Also, why does this Star Lord wannabe look like Bradley Cooper?

I need my Robbie Reyes' Ghost Rider to make that space entrance before the arc is over! But really, I have a feeling we're gonna see him again, be it in space or more likely on Earth.
I feel this season has been worse than last season so far, but S4 had such a strong start where it was literally ripping off the pages of the Ghost Rider comic book. This season I find the Kree (Kasius/Sinara) plot to be weak and with the latest episode it has turned real boring. Kasius holding fights and selling them off to the highest bidder, this has just been seen so many times before. Jemma's subplot isn't much more interesting. What is interesting to me is how our crew is dealing with their situation on the Lighthouse and how that is gonna play off Fitz. I may even have liked S2 more but I got to be fair and say we've only been fed 4 episodes so far, it'll pick up I'm sure.
Naaah, Coulson already made a deal with the Ghost Rider last season and we haven't learned of the consequence yet. They wouldn't make use of that "device" for two characters, I don't think so.I bet Fitz made a deal with the Rider and thats how he's there now.
I love this arc because it's more character centric without the forced romance of season 3.
Forced romance is not always bad. Aida tried to force a romance between her and Fitz, and that was great!

I could see this being it. Fitz uploaded his consciousness into an LMD that could basically live forever. They already have the technology to do that.
I was wondering about the science myself. This earth is ripped up pretty bad. It's basically just a big chunk of rock now and no longer a globe. Is it possible to sustain an atmosphere at all? Doesn't a planet need to be a somewhat spherical and have weather patterns to have an atmosphere? With the core ripped open the magnetic field would be all messed up. We're talking some pretty major earthquake and tsunami wiping what remained of the surface. It seems to me that a catastrophic event of that magnitude would make the planet unlivable almost instantly, so how could anybody survive?I thought they said something like "the only thing that can live on the surface is the roaches" - I assume there's oxygen and stuff, since that one guy was walking around, but I think even without the aliens eating you, it'd still be impossible to survive. It's his real name as far as anyone knows.
Considering the Shield base blew up, I'd imagine they'd have to have a new hangout when they eventually finish their time in space.YES.
Man, I'm really interested to see what is happening on Earth. Will we ever see the S.H.I.E.L.D. base again? Is S.H.I.E.L.D. even still a thing after coming out to the public again? How is Talbot doing? What about the Superior?

Yeah, I'm having a hard time getting invested and by episode 3 I already couldn't wait for them to go back to the past. Glad to hear that Fitz is back though. I haven't watched the latest one yet but I'm considering waiting for this arc to end and watching it all in one go.Hopefully with Fitz in play things will get moving, I'm losing interest as they keep dropping new shit for the setting when it's moot by the nature of the show. Is there anyway they actually let the Earth get destroyed like that, much less don't go back in time? The Kree stuff will probably carry over to the next arc but all the intricacies of the human/kree social structure feels like a waste. The dreary stone walled rooms and the soft spoken demeanour facade covering psychotically malevolent Kree dude wore out their welcome for me.
