Just finishing up my first run of Dragon's Dogma. Got the DLC for Bloodborne so I'm going to replay that next. Also going to redo DD on another profile as an Assassin, it's such a great character to play. Who wouldn't want a sword, shield, daggers and bow with a single character!

The BB DLC is incredible, it might be the best stuff in the whole game. The last boss especially is ridiculous, it took me so many goes, I can still feel the rhythm when I close my eyes. I really need to give DD a proper go one of these days.

When I was a youngster I used to have Mars milk and vodka, it was amazing. Sometimes I would use a stick of spira for a straw.

I've just finished rise of the tomb raider and am dipping my toe into fortnite battle royale.

I had literally one game of Fortnight and noped out of there. It was just so janky. Have you played the Royale mode much in GTA? It's pretty fun. Did I play that with you or JM?

Edit: continuing my grand tradition of multi posting. Start as you mean to go on and everything.

Must've been jm. Think I'll be deleting fortnite shortly unless I get some mates to play with.

If you enjoy he souls games then go straight to Bitterblack Isle, it's really tough but you get fat loot drops and with some careful dodging, running and picking the right battles it is the best combat in any game I've played.

Watching The Martian, seems decent so far, I liked the book.

I don't like that they changed Venkat's name to Vincent though. Venkat is a cooler name, pointless change.

Matt Damon is the boss, I always enjoy watching him.

I love the Martian. It's such a feel good film. I really need to get around to reading the book.

Did you know... The Martian and The Expanse are set in the same universe? Not a spoiler, just an easter egg that has no bearing on the plot of the books.

Saw that this was on Netflix just last night - will probably watch after Stranger Things.

So this week is off to a fantastic start.
I had this memory of these amazing crisp biscuits my nan used to buy when I was a kid - but she had totally forgotten what they were called or where they were from every time I asked her about them. After years of wondering, I found a recipe that looked sort of right a couple of weeks ago & my mum made them for me this morning.

They're almost spot on. I'm having such a nostalgic morning munching away on these crispy delights.

Beat that, ERA

I did not, took two friends who had never been to a game before. Felt compelled to apologise to them afterwards.

It is cold indeed. However, everyone in my office is now fighting over control of the air con. Fun times ahead.

Hearts fan eh? I'm a Hibs man myself. Not going to say anything though. Nope. Not me.

1-0.

I read the first sentence sarcastically and was waiting for the part where the biscuits gave you explosive diarrhoea or something.

check back later, there's time yet.

Recipe:
1 cup slightly salted butter, softened (really whip it up)
1 cup caster sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup potato starch flour
1 cup flour

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour and potato starch flour; add to butter mixture and stir until combined. Chill dough for about an hour. Roll into small balls and place on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheets. Press gently with palm of hand to flatten slightly. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes or until edges are brown.
