So Torchwood Boy on Youtube has a theory about Lance Hunter for later this season in his latest video and i really like it. Putting in spoilers because i think its going to happen now.

When I was rewatching season 4 on Netflix, I was wondering what happened to the girl and her mom after Robbie Reyes asked Daisy to keep an eye on his brother. I was like, "Good luck with that, she was suppose to keep an eye on another kid from the previous season, and she'll be in space the next season, lulz."
It was actually addressed and in a great way.

70 years is 3 generations. Although they thought the station was built about 90 years ago. But Deke didn't really know how long it had been there.
Nah the math doesn't add up for that to be the case. If we say he's conservatively 35, and they are 30 in the current time, then they would've had him when they were almost 70. As cool as that would be, it can't mathematically be possible
This season has been great so far but all it needed was Iain/Fitz to elevate SHIELD back to top tier television. Goddamn he's such a good actor.
It could be handwaved that with how advanced mcu is that 20 years ago the station was something shield or some government made in case of a extinction level event

Just caught up, such a great ep Fitz remains the best character in the show,and having hunter back was great. I like that it showed him being brought up to speed, rather than ignoring it. I tight lmd Fitz would have been a good moment but the mystery of enouch was much better.and remembering season 2 with the Robin sculpture was a great throw back.

It kind of checks out. The ELE happens sometime in the present. Anyone born during that time would be 70 in the future and would have zero knowledge of the world prior (and there aren't many elderly as far as we can tell). The Kree show up. Limit knowledge and probably get rid of anyone trying to spread it/organize. Makes sense that in a few generations (generations are usually considered to be about 20-30 years) people would have lost most advanced knowledge under those conditions and yet it's not too far that Sharknado couldn't have been passed down in some shape or form. But I do agree the timeline is a little tight for my liking.

One thing I'm bothered by is S.H.I.E.L.D. being dissolved again. Very curious to see how they handle that in the second half of the season but I'm not big on the idea overall.

Well, not really. Fury had nothing to do with the new S.H.I.E.L.D. when it came out to the public.
I just don't get why they would have a season 4 plot line be that of them coming out of the shadows only to immediately go back on it. But we'll see what happens.
Maybe they're just publicly "dissolved" and there are remaining factions again like R.E.A.L.S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 2.

I thought season 2 was amazing but yeah the "real" SHIELD stuff was kinda long-winded. Wanted to see them working together sooner.

even worse when they had better resources and technology and a mini army
I hated "real SHIELD" so much. Coulson and his team out there fighting the good fight and then these shits try to secretly overthrow them because they don't like how Coulson does things or whatever. So what have you guys accomplished then? Oh you sat around in your aircraft carrier doing nothing? Cool, I'm sure your opinions are valid then.

I am SO happy that made its way into the future. Fitz knows what Mack needs.
Since he's off world he can time travel back with the gang and not have to worry about bumping into his old self, if that even matters.
Yeah SHIELD is one of the few shows like it where it doesn't feel like they're just making shit up as they go. Everything seems well thought out and planned in advance.
Fitz would dive into fire for his lady, and his fam. God help any fool that gets in his way.

I don't often say this, but I need plot armor to be on at all times, can't take any of these dudes dying, including Yo-Yo despite her being newish. Last season with Mack was STRESSFUL.
