And they need to be on that new service they are launching instead of CW seed.
I really wonder if WB/DC can do the service and actually get the CW stuff on there quickly.

I can definitely see WB being okay with them doing it but I don't think CBS would want their stuff going to an exclusive WB platform quickly.

The DC service would be a great deal if you could get
Near airing:
Arrow
Flash
Supergirl
Legends
Black Lightning
+
Exclusives:
Young Justice
Harley Quinn
Titans
+
Back catalogue

The problem with the WB stuff isn't CBS, it's that it's been signed to Netflix (and renewed last year) and other services worldwide. Maybe they thought ahead and have a clause that lets them put it on their own service but that'd be unlikely.

I assume their back catalog stuff, the stuff nobody wants and is currently on Seed will go there but the rest is up in the air.

It isn't worth it to bring the Netflix stuff there. Netflix will pay a lot more than what the service will bring.

LOL IGN looking for hits saying the Robin costume in Titans is extremely controversial and that fans are up in arms about it.

After tonight's Lucifer yah. Well Riverdale has DC posters in Archie's room, so I'm gonna call it multiverse and that has an episode left this week.

I wonder if that is the pilot villain or if he comes back. He looks unique enough to become memorable.

I think price point will be key to success for the DC streaming service.
They can't compete with the Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu/upcoming Disney or even CBS streaming apps of the world, but if they can offer a price point that's low enough I'm sure they can find an audience.
Disney, with all of the content they have is said to be aiming for a substantially lower price than Netflix. I wonder if 3-5 dollars might be a target for the DC service. At that price it could easily be justified for people that may only want to check out a show or two.
There's also some benefit to having a wide audience as these are all existing IP that benefit from more exposure (whether additional comics sales, merchandising sales, prepping for future movies, etc...).

If it's including comics as rumored, I don't see $5 happening. Marvel Unlimited is $10. But unlimited comics + TV shows for $10 a month? Crazy good.

I thought that rumor was determined not to be true? It would make sense to do that, but I thought they determined it would hurt their Graphic Novel sales too much.

This Justice league movie is bad

I'll be honest.... I have a very low standard for movies, and Justice League is a decent film. Better than BvS, worst than MoS, and entirely bad compared to Wonder Woman. I'm not going to make comparisons compared to MCU films because it's not fair, like, at all.

It's a decent film when you're inebriated (which I was heavily) and a bad film when you're sober.

The action scenes were decent. Good even. But everything around it was severely lacking. They were still trying to set up JL in the JL movie. Barry's, Arthur's, and Victor's stories were shoved in here to pad it out. Generic villain was damn awful. WW needs a suit upgrade. Get rid of the skirt and modernize it a bit. She looked out of place funny enough.

Highlight? Hearing The Flash's theme (CW). I fucking smiled every time it played.

Oh and Barry and Clark saving people. That was some comic book ass comic book stuff and I loved it. After credits scene too errr the middle credits scene. Not the one at the very end :P

I can't even be bothered to pretend to say anything nice about JL anymore, because the Arrowverse crossover happened like the next week, and showed DCEU how it's done lol

Justice League was just bland and soulless and had nothing to it. I mean so was The Avengers, but at least that was made competently and cohesively. None of the team up movies have been truly great. I would take Crisis on Earth-X over all of them.

Man of Steel is legit, so is Wonder Woman. BvS extended is watchable, I guess I might watch some action scenes from Justice League again. Would never touch Suicide Squad. So bad.

I liked the action from Man of Steel, the Warehouse scene from BvS, and the No Man's Land scene from WW. That's it. Everything thing else was mediocre at best.

Suicide Squad and BvS were excruciatingly bad, and I got no intention of watching the extended version, because I refuse to ever again watch any movie with Eisenberg's Lex in it. (That includes whatever they're teasing in the post-credits scene.)

So... yea, please reboot this shit already. You can even keep Gal Gadot, just please reboot it.

Im one of the few who really enjoyed MoS. WW is damn good and only have two gripes about it. Well, not gripes really but I kinda cringed. The walking in No Mans Land (it looked like a runway strut lol) and the whole "I believe in love" thing at the end. BvS... I think I found it not terrible. Only seen it once so I may need to watch it again. Maybe extended this time.

SS was dogshit

So I wasn't the only one to hear that? I know it's not a literal one to one copy, but it sounded so much like it that it totally stuck out to me.

Yeah, its not 1 to 1 but man did it make me lean forward :D

No.

Just realize they're never gonna be for you. Accept that. Live in it. Because a reboot ain't happening.

I mean, I'm fine ignoring them henceforth, or at least not going to theaters to watch them. I just merely think it'd be the best course of action. Shit is unnecessarily tainted imo, when it should've been a slam dunk.

Ah well.

That said, saying it ain't ever gonna be for me is saddening, since well, JL was supposed to be a much more accessible movie lol

Which it was, but it was also bad, so yea.

It be a dumb course of action especially in this comic climate when you've seen what Wonder Woman did for DC. All they have to do is make better movies, which it's looking to be considering the upcoming slate.

And if all you enjoyed from Wonder Woman was No Man's Land then when I say these movies aren't for you, accessibility isn't the problem lol.
