There was some chatter in here a few days ago about Hak's contributions to Ratking. I was thinking about posting something similar because I got the feeling Wiki's song concepts are different as a solo artist than with Ratking. I want to say So it Goes was more ambitious, but I don't think that's the right word for it either. NMIM has an cool concept and he's unusually vulnerable on Pandora's Box. Hak does not have bars, but Wiki's writing feels different (though not necessarily worse) without him. I keep thinking back to that old Guardian interview Ratking did where they admitted that Hak barely listened to music before they started recording together.

It isn't really that great off of a movie. Its also hated by people who hate change, but its also hated by people who like movies who make cohesive sense and have a narrative you can understand and where things matter. I'm not fond of co-opting " people hating change" as the main reason why people hate this thing. Because a bunch of people who don't really care if star wars changes or not hate this star wars. This shit sounds like some " you only hate it because dante's hair is white " shit, criticism by people who can't except that thing they like got criticism.

Like, they almost got along too well, lol. No traction, which was the most entertaining part of Everday Struggle.
