I'd probably go for a different element so you have a more balanced team? level her up on the side maybe?

Good point. H. Kula is probably my 3rd closest so I'll stick with that. I also have Yamasaki. So I got some good choices
They'll add them, for example Kyo 95 and K' 99 are in the pool, they won't add fest characters though.
Yeah, I'd go with H.Kula next. She benefits from O.Iori's leader skill and her 50% chance to freeze someone when they attack her (with 12 sec cooldown) is beyond broken in PVP. It's usually means the death of the other character as it's a free combo most of the time.

I just saw this vid of someone showing off the units that are out in Japan but aren't in Global. (Unfortunately the vid has annoying commentary throughout).
Sidenote: He does some summons at the end and it has a new UI. I like the look of it compared to the cube we have now. However, I dislike the extra load times added.
Started 98 and at the point where I need to farm exp capsules to level up efficiently. This is gonna take some time. Luckily I got souls to limit break.
I figured the Tekken reps would be mostly Mishimas with Xiaoyu being one/if not the only female rep, but I'm still disappointed nonetheless. Unless they're ridiculously busted I'm probably gonna pass on that banner whenever it comes.

You first need to beat the 94 Story in the Story section, and once you do, the Orochi Leona and Iori banner becomes available through the Private Shop.

It may still be worth trying to grind for the King super card in the King event quest if you didn't get it yet, because you'd get an extra one of those super cards that you can use for a free upgrade, or you can use it to trade for another super card(though, you'd still need four unwanted super cards in order to trade for the one super card that you want).

Out of this list I'm looking for Vanessa, Pretty Billy, and a decent-top tier Mature & Vice. Gonna try my hardest to ignore Christmas Whip if she comes West.

I'm most certainly hyped for Vanessa as well. She looks super fun with her quick moves and is another Mono Team (Red) 50% Attack Leader like K' (which I didn't do the step up for, and thus can't get atm).
Two others that I really want because they look fun and have amazing leaderships are Whip 99 and Sakura Festival Hinako. They each have the same leadership as Orochi Iori (+60% Attack, -10% Defense) with Whip being for Defense type characters and Hinako being for Balance type characters.
Absolutely. She wouldn't be optimal for me but I just love her character. Too bad she doesn't have a Halloween costume because my team would be even more busted that what it is. lmao

There's a handful of characters out in Japan that I'd like. I mainly want some characters from the upcoming Christmas event, the New Year's event, and 99 Whip. I'd also love getting Sylvie, Pretty Chang and Pretty Billy, but they won't be out for quite some time, at least when compared to the former characters.
I do hope this game has long term success, because there's a bunch of KOF characters that I want to see and play in this game. I really want Raiden and Luong to be in this game.

On a whim, I decided to do a x10 pull from the "Starving Wolves" banner, where you can get 97 Mai, 97 Terry and Blue Mary. I got Blue Mary on that x10 pull, who I've been wanting!! I hope the gacha treats me this well during the Christmas event.

i wish the worldwide release would catch up to the japan release (which seems to be what they've started to do seemingly) if only to make the parity between the two much closer. I thought Dragonball Legends was pretty good with that
The Global version has def been on an accelerated pacing for banners vs the Japanese release. I think I also read somewhere that they've changed around the order of banner releases as well. If they keep things up they they will def close that 15 month gap, however it will be harsh for people trying to get a bunch of the units, especially the Fest ones, without going broke due to having them come out in such rapid succession.

It's why it feels so liberating to have just about everyone I want, except collabs...well not that I will be able to resist if summer kula comes...
I hope the next Growth Festival gives you a green fighter. I'm in desperate need of a new green character that I can level up quickly, because the Chizuru chapter of the Epic Quest is stonewalling me right now.
Has anyone managed to get a full clear on hard Goenitz in story? One of the requirements is take less than 15 hits. One tornado is pretty much 15 hits smh

Swimwear Kula and Pretty Chang are my most wanted aside Orochi, for strength reasons in his case. Maaaaybe Sakura Festival Hinako, but only if she comes after one of those first two. Would likely have to skip her otherwise.
Question though, what does "Fest" mean exactly? We would still be able to pull them from banner or do you have to glue them together with Souls?

It's really tough, but it's do-able. I think it requires a degree of luck. I save any supporters for the phase where he gets super armor, because since he doesn't flinch, the supporter just melts his health bars.
It just requires a shitload of dodging, and running around waiting for your specials to get off of cooldown.

Per the text on the banners in game:
"KOF Fest"
"An opportunity to acquire 5★ Fighters at a 6% chance."
KOF Fests are banners that are only available for a short time and have increased 5★ rates. Of the 6% chance to get a 5★, the featured character/s has a 0.3% drop rate while all the other 5★s in the pool equally split the remaining 5.7% drop rate. The featured characters on the banners are exclusive to said banner and are only available there. Thus far the Fest characters we have banners for are Orochi Iori, Orochi Leona, Goenitz and Omega Rugal. On their portraits, they have purple outlines vs the golden ones that other 5★ characters have.
Most Fest units are incredibly strong, however it takes more effort to max level 90 them because their souls, used to limit break them past lvl 60, are not available in the Exchange Shop. Additionally, the Golden KOF souls (aka the ones that are part of the Roulette right now) don't work on them because they have their own Purple colored ones.
Ideally, I'd try to get a high level 95 Mai or K' supporter, 95 Mai over K'. Mai will deal more damage more quickly.
The dream situation is to dodge that special where he stands and throws a bunch of wind projectiles, and just have you and your supporter melt his remaining health bars. I managed to do it with a level 72 Yamazaki, since I had no good red fighters. If you've got a good red fighter, it should be a bit easier to handle that challenge.
There are a few things. One is to swap fighters and try to use emergency roll. The other is to make use of the block but you need to beware of his grab. I made sure to lower his health down to near half then I went in with a full skill combo+finisher 2 on my strongest character. Then I used a good support to finish up along with projectile at a distance. It is still a bit dicy, one slip up and you miss out on the less than 15 hits goal.
At the beginning I accidentally donated a huge sum of gold. It was for a guild mission and the donation was suppose to be 2500. I thought it was just going to take that but it took every gold I had or up to the maximum donation that day. I didn't have that much gold but it shot me up 2k easy.
