We don't have NJP unless you really fuck up, and even then, it's just part of hard labor as part of an official sentencing. Most of the time you just get LoC (letter of counseling) or an LoR (letter of reprimand)

That seems like, weak af. We start with verbal counseling(peer based)->counseling chit(e6)->disciplinary review board(e7-e9)->executive officer inquisition->captains mast->admirals mast->courts martial.
But I'm also in weapons so like you guys probably don't have to deal with the shit we do, lol.

I mean, it depends on the career field. Me, as someone who maintains million dollar aircraft and MUST do a good job to make sure the plane doesn't crash, is more likely to get in trouble for a mistake than, say, a finance troop who has to manage pay stubs and tax returns.
It also depends on the infraction, too. DUI? Automatic Art 15 and above. Will ruin your career. Late for work a few times? Counseling. Goes in your file, gets shredded after like six months if you keep your nose out of trouble.
Edit: We never do community ass-chewings like that. All paperwork is given out in private between the fucked and the one doing the fucking.
