if they could implement a unique animation for Nia to ride Dromarch when you control her, I don't see why they they couldn't implement a unique animation for Tora to be carried by Poppi QTπ when you control him

About this, you reccomend Theory instead of peececal?Wich good dark blade should I use? So I have dark element in my party.
How is Kassandra for as a tank blade? I have her on No 4, but her skills don't seem to synergize all that well with a dodge tank
Yeah I've been hearing this. He's on Rex right now, should I overdrive him to Nia? It seems he would be much more suited to her.

Perceval isn't too great. Best choices for dark blades are Vale, Poppi, and Kasandra.

She loses her hat in the cooking heart-to-heart at Argentum? I didn't notice that.
She also loses her hat in the one cutscene in Ch. 6 involving the king of Tantal.

I havent even begun messing with Poppi's ether crystal add on thingies. I should probably get on that. How do you even get more crystals. Some of the stuff here needs 9K
You get more crystals through playing the Tiger Tiger minigame. You get crystals directly and you can also exchange the parts you get for crystals.
You can actually sell the junk parts you don't want to use from Tiger Tiger into crystals. There's a button in the menu, but people don't notice because the UI is so bad.
Fighting my way through the infamous Chapter 7 dungeon, though i think i'm through the worst of it (i was overleveled for the Chapter 6 boss, which didn't help me then, but is helping me now. As long as i manage not to aggro too many enemies at once, the fights are manageable).
The deep pit in the middle was kind of crap for expecting me to have a Fire field skill given certain recent events, but I managed to "fall with style" to get through it and dodge the skill checks and that nasty UM in the middle.
Got Gorg for Morag (are we not spoilering her anymore?) So she finally managed to pull a Unique Blade for herself. Gorg's outfit looks like a Common blade's, though, so i was uncertain (despite the human skin), until i saw the 5 crown rating.
Ch 7 dungeon hasn't been that bad so far aside from the pit in the middle. There's only one time they try to force you to fight a large group of enemies, but second time around it was easy to pick them off with the stone-throw to get their attention one at a time.

If you plan to get the DLC you might as well get it now because it gives you plenty Crystals as well...
I had trouble with her girl talk competition. You have to have like 13 levels of girl talk I think.
They really really need to rework equipping skills. You should have a separate list for the skills rather than have to go and change out blades equipped for battle.
Okay I can generally look past a few bad design decisions as I really like this game. But fuck everything this development team did with Blades and affinity. Field mastery skills are complete bullshit and I've never been so annoyed with a Xenoblade game before.
Just finished, with 154 legit hours on the clock (didn't ever use sleep mode).

Hammers are not that good as dodge tanks, you want is sword, I have #4 with it base Blade, Theory and Aegeon
The blades say what modifier they give to their driver, either dex, accuracy, str, ether, hp or luck, around 10% to 20% depending on the blade
Blades emselves only stats are Auto Attack, Block Rate and Critical rate, all this 3 are affected by Core chips and Auxiliary Chips
Damage from arts is calculate from AA + STR or ETR (the art says which) and then the extra modifiers like elemental advantage, critical, etc etc etc
He is one of the best healers out of whats basically cheating
Critical heal Mythra + Overclock bangle on Rex + Ursula

Just started this today, not sure I'm digging the story, isn't gripping me like the original yet. Combat is fairly autonomous now so I'm not sure what will keep me going if either don't pick up. I'm not going to run through 100 hours of this with all the others out there. Does it pick up? I'm certainly early, just got introduced to making blades.
You've barely scratched the surface of both the gameplay and story at that point. Unless you just outright dislike the game, stick with it for now.
It's OK so far, but if it gets better I'll stick it out, I know these are a slow burn. I'm just not invested in the characters yet, but if they develop more I can be patient. I loved XC1 but was just surprised it wasn't instantly hooking me like that did, although XC1 opening chapter was off the hook. I just don't want to get trapped in a inventory management, fetch quest style game if there's not a good pay off for all the hard work.
I would like to know as well. I am no aficionado about soundtracks. I have only bought about 5 game OSTs in my life. But this is one I want.
As much as I love BOTW and feel it deserved in it's GOTY awards. I feel the same way. I've already put more hours into Xenoblade.
I think I've got a serious hold on the battle system and blade combos now, and the game is a million times more fun for it! I'm actually kicking more ass now than I did in the first few hours, especially once you deck your party out with different blades. Still on Chapter 4 btw.
I am loving Xenoblade 2 so far....but holy moly, what is with Pyra's boobs being bigger than her head? And her ass strangling shorts? It is literally my only complaint, and yet it has made me want to stop a few times. I feel like a snooty person who can't get over her design, but it just continually takes me out the game during cutscenes.

Some of the ch9 flashbacks could've been interwoven into earlier chapters, and we'd have a better game for it. I think some of this is sloppiness from the (relatively) quick turnaround for this game after 2, they're probably used to having some extra time to tweak the script. A lot of the game feels that way, tbh...
I was anticipating exactly what you described after finishing the QTπ sidequest. Such a disappointment.
