Yes. We've had larger scale games in the past. Including some pair games which had double the roster. That said, 18-20ish is pretty standard.
We had big games in the past. Harry Potter for example had 28! Players.
Thanks for the theme we had no issues filling up the game.
Regarding games going out of control. I don't want to go into details lol
They will naturally have more roles and more killing roles that speed up the game.
I don't play a lot of super big games, but they usually have extra killing mechanics on top of the roles.
There's usually more than one game runner in bigger games and the deadline for night actions is early enough they get a few hours to look over everything.
CET = Central European Time (France, Germany, etc)
CEST = Central European Summer Time
CST = Central Standard Time (Central US)
Not confusing at all :p

oh shit hold up I just saw this - and while there is already a good answer in gif form, I have FEELINGS here, so-
Twilight is hot garbo Mary Sue fanfiction style nonsense and while I can go into a deep argument about why fanfiction Mary Sues are actually not a terrible thing in many cases (filling a void of female characters for young writers looking to express themselves in a world dominated by male characters who get to be speshul), in this case, it's just dumb. Senseless plot and character elements. Terrible decisions. Things that happen for reasons. Sparkly glitter vampires. The few elements worth a damn are wasted.
Buffy, on the other hand, while it has its issues (like being white as shit, even for its time, there's a highly questionable rapey moment, several seasons are... uneven), has some real redeeming qualities, like explorations of the difficulty of being a superhero. It fucks up your life, your relationships, your emotional state. And it's full of great one-liners. And it has great potential for a mafia game. :D

The review team has been using a complexity scale different and more descriptive than the numbered Crab scale for a while, but yesterday we saw that it wasn't as comprehensive as it could be so we made some adjustments.
Here's how games are labeled by us now:
and with this new definition, nin's Console Wars has "unusual mechanics".
